Not a good idea. There is the potential to pull off skin that is not ready and it can be painful and cause bleeding. Trust me. The first time I used Baby Feet that is what happened. Just let it come off naturally. Soaking the feet for a few moments once it starts to peel helps it along.

Oh absolutely!!!!! I have been know to "help" it along as well. I know as well how far to go, because if you pull on some that is not ready, it can hurt like the dickens and also bleed. That bit of advice was mainly for 1st time users. Thanks for the comment!

I got one and I'm peeling mine off.

The key here is FORCIBLY -meaning not to start removing skin before it start to shred off. I use these masks every 3 months and the skin starts to shred off on day 8. I then take a clean hand towel and rub off the hanging layers

Id just cut off the excess, by peeling they mean actively taking it off the skin when it hasn't actually came off naturally yet

Yes ma'am. "Operation Crunch-Foot" is complete and I am thoroughly satisfied. My feet are, no kidding, as smooth and soft as a baby's bum. They are even somewhat translucent on the bottom. My feet haven't been this pretty in years. The end result brought a tear to my eye. I'm not gonna lie, though---seeing the peeling process was T R A U M A T I C. The instructions are to not manually peel off the skin, rather to let it fall off on its own. The feeling of walking around on loose skin inside my socks was just disgusting. Peeling started promptly on day 2 and seemed to end by day 7. I did soak my feet in a mix of warm water and baby oil for 30 minutes each day after the initial mask. After the soak, I would slather on Jergens lotion and keep my feet in socks. I almost posted the end result on my Facebook, but then I had to slow my roll and remember that it's just feet and I'm certain that most of my friends wouldn't care. lol In any case, do it--do it--do it! I think I'm going to continue to soak my feet at least twice a week because it felt great and, d@mmit, I'm worth it. :)

It worked wonderfully, Megan. My last day of peeling was yesterday (day 7) and I am legit SWOONING over my feet. I will be getting my toes painted this weekend to top everything off, so yeah, DO IT! Cheers!

I tried this and did notice that my feet were more tender and prone to getting sore from rubbing against my shoes, and getting blisters.

lala stephens you could find them to be pretty tender. Our first become hard and calloused to protect us from blisters and sores so removing them can cause the soft skin to easily blister.

I've done this twice and had no tenderness at all! I actually peeled the skin off because I have bad OCD so I couldn't stand to see skin hanging off my feet lol. The only tingling pain I got was when I was wearing the booties.. It's like acid on your feet, so it does give a burning tingling sensation, it's a little uncomfortable but it's easy to deal with especially after seeing the results it's worth it!
