Bletchley Park was amazing and so interesting. 50 for the tea in the mansion and entrance. Don't judge but this guy got called away and left all of his sweets so the waiter said it would have to be thrown away or she would box it up with ours. We gave all the older gentlemen volunteers treats as we toured the park. They loved us. Good tea and the codebreakers were heroes. We were at Bletchley quickly from Euston station. Your Dad would love it. I do love the cafe at V&A. We did a great food tour in Spitalfield. You could do a whole episode on that Crumble with the custard. Have you ever tried creating that? Our guide was an actress and so good. You know Gordon couldn't resist you and Honor.
I haven’t finished the video yet but I just wanted to say props to you for not click baiting the title with what happened or filming him without asking. You’re a decent human being Grace.
"He said 'Thank you ladies. Happy new year, byebye.' and I said 'TAKE ME! 👹👹👹👹'" I laughed so hard :') I woulda freaked seeing Gordon! And he spoke to you!
If I was Gordon I'd wanna refund/invite you back for a comp meal! It was just the burned beef wellington, the clearly bad food, the saltiness, and the fact that people beside you returned her food, clearly something was off that day hopefully! You were so complimentary and nice about lots of things, you clearly weren't being negative, but it's a shame you had a fair few off things!
Tbh I think £18 for bottomless pizza is very good, places like domino’s etc sell one pizza for around the same price. Here you have multiple toppings, entertainment and free booth. Your paying for it all basically
Don't think she was too critical ...., I mean she had to say if the Pizza was just average...I've never seen such thin, floppy pizza. She did say very good things about the service, the dip, the wings, the games, the photo booth, it being a great place for a date...@@carlymurtagh2472
It's a good price if the pizza is great. And the extras aren't included in that price. So, I don't think Grace was overly critical at all. It's a fantastic price if the pizza is good, but if not, well, then it's not worth it. If they are selling pizza as their main dish, it needs to be exceptional, in my opinion.
Damn you didn't hold back!! Would certainly be interesting if Gordon saw this. I think he would be very appreciative of honest criticism of his restaurants.
As much as I like Gordon as a chef he has way too many restaurants to be able to keep on top of all of them. At the end of the day it comes down to the staff, if you don't have passionate chef teams at your restaurants you are in trouble. especially since there's a big issue with staffing in restaurants in the UK right now.
Very excited to watch this but just jumping in from your insta story to say yes!! People do watch long form content!! RU-vid, and your channel specifically, is my happy place and I do love to watch them, please never stop
I agree!! Grackle is my favourite RU-vidr and I always watch hers before any others been following her since she had like 1.5k followers she has such a lovely community of followers too!
for the price you paid for the roast beef and the wellington you paid at the savoy you deffo shouldve sent it back 😮 the pizza place looked so cool though with all the extras
I would love to see Gordon’s reaction to your constructive criticism and praise 😛 You definitely need to make this a series of vlogs for different celeb restaurants Grack 🙌🏻 Love it xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Just sent this to the man himself - he needs to know - no wonder half his restaurants are empty - he needs to up his game as there are too many competitors out there doing it better 😂 brilliant video as always Grace - and so honest and fair 👏🏻
His Orlando fish and chip gets bad reviews as well from the UK youtubers. I have eaten many fish and chips in the UK and they serve you small pieces of fish there. Not authentic but posh.
If I were Gordon I would want to know. Glad you stepped up and sent the video. Grace's video was fair and conveyed her disappointment in the food. Should be an easy fix.
my bf is a chef and we watch gordon ramsay hells kitcehn and kitchen nightmares every night. considering how much of a perfectionist he is on his tv shows im shocked at some of these ..love this video!
Really great video! It's not illegal to serve a rare burger in the UK but most places choose not to as a burger isn't one whole piece of meat, it's minced so it can be hard to get the core to a safe temperature if it's not cooked through. I think £18 for unlimited pizza is really reasonable to be fair.
This is not correct unfortunately. It is a punishable offence (£10,000-20,000 fine) to serve a burger not cooked to medium well or well done in the UK unless the venue has a license certifying their supplier's quality. As you've mentioned, it's due to the potential mix of meat but is quite commonly enforced. It's a shame though for restaurants that can't obtain this license as ultimately upsets a lot of customers who prefer rarer burgers :(
Very telling that the pizza and burger restaurants were empty - particularly on a Friday night! Would love you to go to Jamie Oliver and Heston Blumenthal restaurants.
I feel like that pizza joint needs more marketing. It should be packed with kids/teens/adults birthday parties. Also Friday night pizza and free games?? Again shocked somewhere like that isn't packed.
She might’ve meant the actually patty was dry. Typically the juices that falls from a burger are the juices from the vegetables. Especially the tomatoes. 🍅
Please 🙏🤣 "The steak is f**king COLD, feels like you cooked it, froze it, and served it! F**k off will ya". I feel bad because I hate getting yelled at, but those carrots on the roast were door stops. Those onion rings, the souffle, and eggs florentine looked yummy.
@@kattyrevel5910 that guy is so busy and famous, grackle is also famous but usually famous people only do collabs with people that have benefit for them so I don’t see any reason why he would collab with her 😂
What a complete and entertaining video!! I love how honest you are with the reviews. Also, you are very close to hitting 500k and im happy for you and excited to be part of it, being part of this lovely community you have created, so much positivity and good vibes, you have inspired me (and I know so many others) to bake more, to go in solo dates, to take care of yourself, to be your truest and to always have fun!! Thank you for all that Grace ❤🎉
This was a really fun video! I used to work for a big company in Central London. There was a lot of money for parties, dinners, etc. I think I went to high end Gordon Ramsay restaurants two or three times. I remember one that was quite nice but to be honest, I can't remember the other two. There was nothing about them or the food that really stood out.
the street pizza place looks like such a fun date night spot, surprised it’s not that busy on a friday with everything that’s included. glad that even despite any of the meals the service was on par at each restaurant
Hi Grace, I wish you had tried his River Restaurant at The Savoy, they have a delish lunch menu for 37 for 2 courses and 45 for 3 courses. My husband and I love going there and I can't say I'm usually the BIGGEST Gordon fan, having been to a few of his clunkers in the past. Love your videos!
Loved this video, please consider doing more restaurant reviews as they are such fun blend of entertainment and interest to those viewers (like myself) who live in the Uk ;)
The only Celeb Chef Restaurant I've experienced was Jamie Oliver's, Jamie's Italian - it was bad, the food was mediocre, and the price was way too high. I wasn't shocked when I heard that where I live it was permanently closed.
Same here. I’ve been to Jamie’s Italian 3 times, and twice it was worthy of a Fawlty Towers comedy. My friend and I ordered crab with avocado, and there was no avocado. When we complained, the staff couldn’t have cared less. 🤷🏻♀️
I think Grace did a great job on this video. And while i think that Gordon is a great chef. Obviously he has other chefs executing his designs. So it's a representation of the team. If he was to cook each dish, I'm sure it would be better. But he still needs to know about these honest reviews and sort out any issues. Those restaurants were empty😮
Great, detailed reviews. Thank you 👏👏👏👏👏. Without a doubt, Mr Ramsey has crazy levels of skills. I have always wondered, though, how that is delegated. I suppose your experiences have provided some answers: sadly, it doesn't always translate! Shame! I would love, one day, to be able to afford to have Gordon himself cook for my family and me. I should put that on my bucket list 😅!!!
He's spread himself too thin. I went to his royal hospital road original about 20 years ago and it was truly amazing. He needs to pull back and oversee his restaurants himself and you cant do thag when you have so many places globally.
I met Gordon in Vegas as I was an audience member on his show ‘Next Level Chef’. I’ve eaten at his pub in Ceasers palace a couple of times. Wasn’t blown away. 😊
I went to that Heddon Street restaurant when I visited London in 2016 and I was so confused why the service was slow, especially since it wasn't busy. It made me anxious. And I don't even remember anything that I ate there so I guess it didn't leave an impression.
i love you to bits for being so honest in your reviews. I absolutely still want to try out his restaurants if only to taste that soufflé. It looked amazing! And deer is such a yummy meat. We eat it a lot here during hunting season. Game meats are just in a different ballpark when it comes to flavours.
Exactly how the hell could she say a burger that is literally dripping with juice be dry 🤣 and yeah who needs a burger rare, there’s a reason we don’t have rare beef burgers and that’s because it has the risk of food poisoning.
I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey's Steak in Las Vegas, it was SSSOOO good! The sticky toffee pudding was to die for and the service was top notch! I even kept the bottle my water came in!
Heyy Grace! We went to the Gordon Ramsay bar and grill directly near lucky cat!As a starter we had a tartar which was a-mazing and then the main course came and the lamb that i ordered was very chewy and rare and the stake was not perfectly cooked. It was very mid and for the price you can find better places! We were a bit disappointed
Marcus Waring's favourite pizza in London is Pizza Express! (He did that street interview with the guy who asks chefs and personalities : "who has the best..." )
Really enjoyed this video and have subscribed. I just feel on Street pizza that £18 doesn’t feel bad value to me given all those free extras, great service and in London too. I agree Pizza Express is really under rated so if it was as good as that and £18 for unlimited slices that sounds pretty good to me!!
We have those chips in Cocoa Beach Florida. They called them sail fries. Because they’re in the shape of a boat sail. So I’m assuming they’re just ordered it through the food and beverage delivery system
You should try The Rosewood afternoon tea. Like you I love afternoon tea and my son took me to The Rosewood for a birthday treat,The Best Ever. I would Love to go back some day but a long track from Ireland. Love your videos Grace
Thanks for taking one for the team at the Savoy. It always seems the way- once a chef really expands locations they lose the quality control that made them famous. One caveat I found- The Wolfgang Puck airport restaurant in Vienna- one of the best meals I've ever had!
Wolfgang puck pizza at Albany airport was raw. I went up an told them it was uneatable but they ignored me. I proceeded to show those in line and they all left before ordering I think the pizza ovens were not hot enough.
I think £18 for the pizza is a great deal! It looks like good pizza, great service and all the extras. I’m surprised you would think it should be cheaper to be honest. It’s in London and seems pretty cheap to me! A dominoes is now £23 and it’s a takeaway with no service nor is it unlimited. I wonder why you didn’t return the inedible roast beef, the cold steak, the flavourless salty soufflé especially when the staff were so great? Seems a bit odd to me. That’s the point of paying a premium.
I've been to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. They seemed a little rushed and started serving us in the waiting area. Putting me in fear of spilling on my pants. But it improved after we got seated. Then the staff was very friendly and the food was great. I like the idea of pizza on tap.
Great video. I’m so jealous you can eat as much as you do and stay so slim, your metabolism must be amazing. I swear I put on weight, just watching this 😂
Wow!! I hope he sees your video because that’s a shame about the mains. I wanted to try his burger joint here in Chicago. Now I may need to rethink it.
hey! loved the video. in my opinion, with this type of content, id love to see u slow down abit. I think with the reviews, i really want to know all the ins and outs and it would be great if you could show us longer clips as sometimes its hard to focus with the speed. You put in so much effort for these videos thank you :)
You missed the River restaurant by Gordon Ramsey. My fiancé is the sous chef there. I love the food there but would have been interested to hear you view 😂 definitely worth a try if you get the chance
Great round up. I went to Street Pizza before Christmas and enjoyed the pizzas a little more than you I think, corn and chorizo was a banging combo. I was also taken to Petrus for a birthday and had a brilliant meal but this was quite a few years ago. Shame your Savoy experience was so mediocre.
Unfortunately, I had the same experience with my family and I at Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas. It was disappointing. There was really great things like the scallops and Sticky toffee pudding. But everything else was alright I had a chicken dish and it was dry. I was shocked. Not to mention my husband found a worm on his plate of beef Wellington. To be fair they did say it was from leafy greens but it was off putting for sure. Thankfully, we received a full refund for his course.
Maybe I’ll have to go back to street pizza! Booked a table when they were showing the F1 and it was abysmal - had maybe 3 slices the whole time and was made to feel like a nuisance :( will have to go back!
I went to stay in his hotel York and Albany, which was really lovely, the restaurant attached was relaxed dining but the food was out of this world. They did have a street pizza attached too but I didn’t try that. I will for sure go back to the York hotel and restaurant mind x
