Like all the things he changed to make sure he could control the encounter, changing it's nature, level, everything, of course the pool is going to be tiny....sure it's possible, but he literally proved all his cheats are what caused it.
Technically speaking, this is possible without any of the cheats or modifications though. It just is incredibly rare. I have a game with the Cute Charm glitch, and all I had to do was just time starting the game right to get the right RNG for the necessary IDs, which while very unlikely someone would get the timing right by themselves, is technically not impossible even if not at all likely.
@@Roseatedramon Okay, yeah, however, as you said, it would be close to impossible to do it by themselves and some assistance is required from a third party.
@@toumabyakuya Like they said, RNG manipulation is a thing and not really cheating (even speedrunners use it in their runs and it's accepted). With that, you can obtain the TID and SID you need. He just changed it manually to save time, but it can be done without code injections and practice.
Fact #3 might actually be possible, you just need to do it differently: First lower Swablu's HP to 1, then the Double Battle should be 2-vs-1 and in there you should use Endeavor first to reduce both Blissey's HP to 1 and now you use Swift.
I ended up catching the same patterned spinda in the same day that I caught the other one. It was within two hours of each other that I found the same pattern, which was really crazy for me. I don’t have those patterns anymore because I restarted years ago, but when I saw the same pattern appear in front of me, I had to look it up and turns out it’s almost impossible to find the same same one so I managed to find it within two hours of finding the same pattern, the first time
Any myth confirmed or not with a cheat, is not a confirmed myth, that's my opinion on the matter. Any myth that can only be confirmed in a single game, doesn't count either.
If it's done to save time and doesn't affect anything else, I think it still should be accepted. They do need to release videos in a timely manner after all. The result will be the same whether he takes ten minutes or three hours, so what's the point? About the Blisseys, it's almost a recreation of an actual system that existed in gen VI, which were the secret bases filled with Blisseys with useless moves to help other trainers level up their mons much faster. By the end of the battle, you were close to lv 100 if not maxed out.
Yeah no. It doesn't count if you have to cheat to do it. You literally forced the game to reduce a massive number of possible spindas down to just 50. If you were able to do this legitimately within the game that would be fine, but you didn't. You cheated. You might as well have forced the game to give you the exact same pattern over and over, because that is just as legitimate as what you did. That is to say, not at all. This proves nothing.
For fact 3: If this is a new save file with 0 badges, the game limiy=ts how much EXP you gain making it significantly smaller than what it would have been if you had all 8 Badges and no throttling.
Or you could use the move "scald", it's a water type move that can burn a fire type, I've already done that in sword and shield and i think scarlet and violet as well lol
If it's possible to use the single pokemon in a double battle with the two level 100 Blissey, it might be possible to get close, since you can endeavor both pokemon then use swift to knock both out Edit: I think part of why Platinum crashes when you have a double battle encounter with two shinies is that the game can't keep up. Diamond and Pearl are notorious for how slow they are, with platinum having things to make the game appear faster. Basically, I'm thinking the behind the under the hood tweaks to speed up Sinnoh in Platinum might be the cause of the crash because the game is trying to keep the faster speed of platinum but a double shiny battle causes the game to lag to a point of crash, since Diamond/Pearl don't have it. With cheats, the most amount of turns I got through in that battle before it crashed was 2-3 turns.
oh yeah,I forgot that I wanted nikoderiko when it came out, thanks for reminding me,but I'm broke at the moment so I guess I'm not getting it any time soon
Wow! Your odds were 1 in many quintillions! I think you should buy a few hundred lottery tickets. Seriously though, that's impossible, so there's definitely some buggoing on there.
Plus he activated a ton of cheats and glitches. If he only activated the one where the grass only gave him Spina then I would let it slide, but he messed with it too much and influenced the system
I think the fact about two shiny Pokemon at once is specifically for two of the same species being shiny. It has to do with trying to play both shiny animations at once.
Theoretically a 1 pokemon can gain 100 level through the underflow glitch in gen 1, if u hack in a level 1 pokemon which is not in the erratic group and it defeating an oponent which does not give them over 54 experience.
Im Pokemon ORAS there were special trainer qr codes you could scan that would give you a trainer with 3 blisseys holding toxic orbs. It could take you to LV 83 or something like that with the o-power lucky egg and traded Pokemon.
I don't think there's a leaderboard for encountering back to back identical Spinda with the cute charm glitch on. A world's first can be anything that happens for the first time. A record implies some kind of established competition.
That's what "outsider Pokémon" means, as in originally from "outside" the player's save file. So yes, Dobbs had met this condition. (Not to be confused with foreign, which he mentioned as well)
