You are really getting good with these videos. I know there was some negativity to the longer format, but it looks like you made adjustments. This is really interesting. I was thinking of using this wrap and am glad to see these results. You changed my mind.
I think I’m liking glossy looks on the CT. TSportline had a glossy black wrap and that glossy PPF adds a certain look IMO as well. I’m starting to lean that way more than matte but it will be interesting as more folks take delivery and do theirs. It could be a while before I’m up.
Suntek ppf its thinner and easier to cut on edges without having to wrap around edges. Do not use avery stek dyno or 3M as its harder to install and cut. Ppf should NOT be at all wrap around as its not a wrap film . Ppf will only go yellow if u pArk the car outdoor at least 6 hours daily. installer for more than 15 years.
Great video! Cant wait till you ceramic coat a CT and share the results. Quick initial thoughts are the ceramic coating would be best for the stainless steel as it should still prevent against finger prints etc. I could be wrong.
Since the truck is mostly flat surfaces like a window, it would be interesting to try cleaning it with the tools of a window cleaner ... a solution applicator and squeegee. Then compare that to the more tradition hand-wash method. It seems like the window-cleaning approach could be much much faster.
Once you apply it to the entire truck I don't think either would look bad. I would much more prefer either of these two films than to have it full of fingerprints all the time. That looks nasty.
Never wrap, cover etc stainless steel, under the covered area you will gett pittings pretty fast, stainless steel must have its protection oxydation layer
Great video. Really interesting results. It would be great to test the ceramic coating on a corner to see the differences from an aesthetic standpoint and fingerprints too.
Oh, yes. Gloss 100%. Although, if I ever get it cyber truck, and I really want one, I am wrapping it in white. Or perhaps a silver. Really, any color looks good. I just love that truck. But, even if you can afford it, Which many can because it is no more expensive than most rams or F1 50s, you’re not gonna be able to get one for years.

Definitely do not like PPF on CT. It just doesn't look right. And it doesn't make much sense to wrap HFS which is ridiculous 'freaking' hard, with something as soft as PPF. Interested in ceramics, can they prevent fingerprints. I doubt it.
PPF is an incredible waste of money. It may not be good for your paint, long-term. When it cost more money to apply this film that does repaint your car, you know something is wrong. Cars do not need this film. They never have before, and they never will. It’s a fad and an extreme waste of money.
