“Visually beautiful” is an understatement. As soon as these changes go live in prepatch I’m just going to practice arcane every day until I’m good at it because this looks so freaking cool.
As a PvE player I am still so thankful for this video. Literally EVERY Mage streamer who got into Alpha has been exclusively playing Fire and it has been driving me insane. Thank you for actually letting see what my abilities look like, my hero 💜
This has all the *GOOD* vibes from Legion arcane, and if it is like legion arcane i'm going to be *SO* happy... I Absolutely LOVED arcane. BFA prepatch absolutely cooked it and it's not been *truly* pleasing to play since. This gives me *SO* much hope for Arcane.
Still waiting them give Arcane Lightning theme to Arcane Mage/Spellslinger instead of crystals, especially with "electric" names for the new talents. I love the Spellslinger mechanic, but it could embend into the target with volatile energy and then release a purple/pink Arcane Lightning spear, like lightning spear in Diablo IV. (and Arcane Barrage call down purple/pink lightning instead of spiral bolts haha)
after playing some classic recently i really hope they will change the dmg numbers in retail back to what they were. It is SO MUCH MORE satisfying in classic. The crits, and the way the numbers pop up is so much better. I will never understand why the changed it. I really dont want to use a buggy addon for this, they need to make an option to change it back the way it was. Its actually really weird that they have not figured it out yet, the difference is so insane.
@@akpade gives lua erros and misses out some numbers. Its not like real classic. They should add options ingame and not force people to use addons for better dmg numbers of the past...
@@ben_ger1988 I’ve been using this adding for the past 4 expac at very least, and i haven’t got any lua errors for ages, and idk what you’re talking about bro, it’s litteraly the same as classic stop the cap
why is he impressed with damage when the tuning pass is months away? you'd think he would have caught on after the windwalker hero ability that kills people in one channel
I spent time leveling another mage, but fire to learn and master it. I love Frost. Arcane has always been boring to me, although I love the lore part of it. I would love for it to get some fun love.
It looks amazing! I almost wish the arcane splinters from the Spellslinger tree had a touch of blue particle effects, just to make them more visually distinct from the rest of the arcane spells being thrown at the target. Basically just enough to imply there's a hint of frost in there The Phoenix from Sunfury looks amazing!
This is the spec/hero talent combo im most excited about. I hate button bloat and spellslinger is mostly passive, augmenting what's already there, and i love the changes to arcane blast, making it more worth it to focus
I already had it set in mind to play spellslinger as soon as the hero spec names dropped. But seeing the visuals now completely set my decision. Im not going anywhere near sunfury or frostfire lmao
Yea, I'm super pumped for mage in TWW. Between the arcane rework and sunfury fire mage, it's gonna be a great xpac. Seems like we finally got some mages back on the dev team! :D
Arcane echo talent will be useless as far as I know with the removal of Arcane Tempest. But the talent tree is really tricky since there are quite some talents that you have to take. Leaving the options limited for keystones.
Really hope they make every single hero talent spec as visually distinctive as the mage ones. Class fantasy and flavor is literally the entire point of these new hero talents. I cannot understand how some of them are just a bunch of passives
Have feeling like out of 3 specs arcane got least impressive damage tbf, check fire and frost , they seems to have much stronger damage, from one side I'm happy for arcane rework, from other bit sad they didn't gave bigger burst / damage.
hello, for the noobs, is possible some guid with rotation for mage arcane for those that never tried as me, all saying is simple, but how simple? thank u
random damage procs... one of the things i hate about retail, damage feedback and control on that it doesn't feel good. Everything is basically just a "a0oshd0a9hq93ujf'aojd'a0sujd'u" that what it feels like to me.
@@13samfootball He's level 80 and missiles is hitting for less than what I melee for at level 70 rn. even with the buffed clearcasting procs until he gets the 5th cast off which is the buffed missiles. I know he wasn't doing the rotation perfect, and that's kind of my point to the spec. I'm glad they kept the tier set and added into the talents but it's a spec that's still so stupidly imposing mechanically, in comparison to how brain dead (and FUN) some other specs are you know? Nobody wants to play a spec where you have to track 5+ modifiers just for 1 cast. I mean maybe masochists do but that's not a FUN spec in my opinion. Arcane should just be about those 3 spells (for st) (Blast/Missiles/Barrage) + cd. Buff them, give the spec mobility, capstone talents could be the barrage throwing an orb out because that is quite fun when it does proc, blasting/missles etc. Just my opinion of course and I'm aware not everyone shares it.
@user-zd3re1gc4k I love that arcane has some mechanical challenges so not every random can pick it up and there is a skill gap I'm between. If you want easy play BM huntard
This video is surprising to me. Did you never play arcane before? Because 90% of these talents are the same as they are currently on retail but you seem really surprised about them. The positioning hasn't even changed
I can't tell if "Wizened" is a typo or intentional, because "wisened" [why-zend] and "wizened" [wih-zend] are two entirely separate words with almost opposite meanings.
Frost and arcane can be as cool as they want, nothing will change my mind that setting entire trashpacks on fire to let them explode shortly afterwards is the coolest F-ing thing you can do on a mage 🗣🔥🔥🔥
