With the LRT 2, you don't need to go to the booth to get a ticket. Every station has ticket machines where you select where you need to stop and insert the money. (unless when you went there and they are all unavailable to use)
Nice that you tried out the light rail. I'm sure you will get used to it. I heard the Pasig River Ferry is still free so if you want to venture out to Manila, from lets say Makati you can take that ferry. Check online on the nearest station from your residence.
good day Justin, if you want breath taking scenery visit Batanes, Ilocos specially Vigan it is in the North part of the Philippines you can go there via bus or airplane. thank you for the reactions about my country positive or negative comments
We were passing the estrella bridge going to rockwell last night and the view from that bridge is amazing. Rockwell buildings is all lit up. It's like seeing the golden city. I think you should make a vlog about it since you live in that area.
I like taking Line 3 from Taft to TriNoma because it only takes 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, your train could even have A/C. However, I heard that the trains are new and should therefore have pretty good A/C.
A novel and informative vlog. Those pacute wink moments though. 😂 Haven't tried DinTai Fung yet. My favorite Chinese restaurant has always been Luk Yuen. Btw it might interest you to know that PH actually has a helicopter charter service (and private jets too) for international and local travel, even within the metro. Check out AirTaxi and Air Juan Bell. 🚁
Manila's metro may not be as long as Singapore's and Thailand's metro systems but it seems to be real useful in some ways. Hopefully in the near future, it will be accessible in many different areas, especially since they are currently constructing new lines and expanding the older ones as well.
I have an example of a new expansion of an old line. The LRT-2 line actually extended to the northwestern portion of Antipolo City, which is outside of Metro Manila. It only added 2 stations to the line, but it is very useful. Both of the stations are also connected to big malls like Sta. Lucia at Marikina-Pasig station, which is one of the new stations. This extension also helps make public transport from Antipolo to Manila way faster than using busses or taxis.
you came around at probably the right time men, there was a time when the MRT 3 had lots of interruptions. glad to hear you got a good experience with that line in particular. haven't tried MRT 3 recently tho. for LRT 1, I tried riding it today for fun. I feel that the cars were meant to be air conditioned, but it is still a little warmer than expected. I agree with your opinions regarding line 1 and line 2 tho. I actually grew up riding line 2 and I like to think it grew up with me because a plaque in one off the stations said it was inaugurated April 2003 (year and month when I was born)
since you already posted your planned route in googlemaps, i think it would be more informational if you insert a google pin everytime you say where you are at that moment.
Line 1 has the best train (newest) if ur willing to wait a bit but u took the oldest train literally. I dunno why they still use it though. U can save tons of money going around d city if u know how to use the metro.
You could buy the Beep Card for all the LRT and MRT lines to save time in going to the Cashiers. Price is from 100 to 500 or even higher whichever is your preferred amount for convenience.
When the Philippine Government finished the Metro Manila Subway systems. The traffic will be greatly reduced and unfortunately only a few King of the Road will remain the Jeepney.
