Dude your video about the hips have made me throw so much better and smoother. Like it’s unreal. But also in that video you talked about not turning almost backwards through the x step. Those two tips alone have made me a better disc golfer. Thanks again brother!
I notice you exhale when you putt. I was curious if it would work for me... The answer is yes, yes it very much does. My c1x went from 60% to 80% and my confidence is much higher when I step up to a longer putt. I think that it helps me remind me to remain calm before and through the putt. Keep up the good work.
Indeed! Exhaling through the explosive part of the movement is good in general as well. Like when you're coming up during a squat, swinging for contact in tennis, or throwing a shot in disc golf. If you think about it, holding your breath forces you to be so much tighter. Forced exhales are a great way to stay relaxed throughout the movement and maintain timing.
I was wondering the same thing as I watched this! Come spring I'll have to give it a try, it just seems to make so much sense for those longer putts! I treated it more like archery or firearms: breathe in, let it out about half, putt.
The Clash Discs Mint is like a beat in zone right off the shelf. Still overstable enough to trust releasing it on anhyzer for flex lines, but will get a little bit of flip up at the start of the flight when you really crank on it.
I only recently got the glimmer Sockibomb harp to compliment my bt hards, that thing is a beast of a disc, but still so workable! Not sure how it is compared to the other VIP, but I definitely recommend it!
Your putting is soooo good! Love this channel. I’m a New disc golfer and can’t wait for spring here in Alaska, we have to play in about 3 feet of snow right now.
I love my crystal flex zone, also have been really enjoying the extra soft tactic lately as well! always open to trying out other discs within that bag space, great video!
Recently found you content and really love it, but am shocked you don't have more subscribers! The editing (especially the overlays you use, love the green highlighting!!!), your thoughts and commentary, and just how you run this series is great! I bagged an original LE Z Zone and it beat in to perfection over the years, but after losing it's Reaper counterpart and the difficulty of replacing it... I had to look at other options. I had the same experience with the BT harp, but stuck with it and have loved how it's worked for me over the years. I carry 3 now. But seeing this Jokeri footage... looks like I need to track down one locally and give it some throws!
My primary approach disc is my Exo Soft Tactic. The Exo Soft versions are the most overstable Tactics, whereas the Razor Claw 3 is the most overstable of the Razor Claws to date. I absolutely love the dependability of my Tactic. I bagged an Exo Hard before and did find it to be a bit less predictable than the Exo Soft one. That Jokeri seemed interesting though. I might find one to try out sometime 😊.
@@fox4534 no I don't want something like a zone. I bag a jawbreaker zone. It's the best upshot disc I've ever thrown. I was just commenting on comfort of forehands being better with the Toro
I actually putted with base plastic jokeri for a while. Being a spin putter it goes straight within 45-50 feet. Can play the fade on longer putts. Headwind never being an issue. But comebacks were long when you missed the basket. But let a junior try out a bunch of putters and he felt that the jokeri was feeling good in his hands so I gave him mine. I felt I wanted to change putters anyways and went to Links. And since that now I putt with envy/proxy since I changed to an MVP bag.
A beat in VIP Harp is a beautiful disc in this slot. I've recently started using an MVP Entropy for that approach disc. I'd definitely recommend a Harp vs Entropy round
Doing the harp dirty 🤣 Only disc I own more than one of. I love my harp so much, got my first ace with it and have had many close ones. It is so nice for whatever line I need under 200ft
Jokeri is one of the most torgue resistant putters to throw though, unless you go super overstable. This sounds more like an issue with either form, or the fact that jokeri is a deeper putter and not fitting everyones hands, causing unclean release. I would gladly throw Jokeri in headwind, but my friend always turns it over somehow, saying it's too deep.
aviarX3 is hard to forehand for me too but I'm ninja accurate forehanding a zone. love the avirX3 for certain approaches, for long throw in runs, and putting up hill seems easier with an overstable putter too.
normal tactic has these flight numbers: 4 2 0 3, only razor claw had 4 fade i think. Glad that a disc from finland made it to this channel, might have to give this disc a try🤔
The Axiom Pyro is what I use for this slot that you're talking about. I know what you mean entirely, was searching for this slot for years prior to finding on that was perfect for what I wanted.
I just recently got a harp thinking it may replace my really old r pro pig, but it ended up being a slightly different slot in my bag that I didn't even realize I was missing
I’ve only been to FL once in my life.. but if there any concern for gators in those random water areas? Or are they confined to 1 specific place in the state, lol.
I live in Florida and there are often gators in these small ponds in neighborhoods, parks, etc. I do see them every so often when disc golfing, but that doesn’t stop people here from swimming for lost discs 😂
I bagged a Jokeri as my first approach disc before picking up a 4 speed Zone type disc (a 4.5 speed Järn). I liked it for forehands but wasn't quite as happy with it backhand (getting good distance but the feel was a bit off for me) I don't have anything in the bag quite the same at the moment but I'm considering trying the Jokeri out again when the weather improves and checking out the Reko X at the same time . Haven't thrown it too much but was liking the feel on bh more (kind of beaded rather than sharp like the Jokeri). Maybe try one if you can, see how it stacks up?
@@aleksitakalo1523 I didn't know they had an X! Only a few places (online) in my country stock Prodiscus, none the whole range, so I haven't had my hands on any of their discs except the Jokeri. The Troija interested me when I was looking of an overstable mid but I couldn't find one. Ended up with a DGUK Duke (5,4,0,3.5) instead
@@BodanzaDiscGolf Toro is quite overstable out of the gate, but very predictable. Especially for forehand approach shots. I've bagged two for over the past year and love em!
Ordered a Jokeri (and a P Model S in DuraFlex) last week, still not sent though.. :P The numbers on mine are supposed to be 3,3,-1,2 but perhaps taken numbers from the base plastic, ordered Premium... Looks lovely =)
P model s is pretty good but I like the nomad better. Both hold their line when thrown. Don't flip over like most putters. I have 13 different putters. Reko is my favorite
Well I got 2 Nomads intended for putting... guess I'll throw them some instead since I didn't end up putting with them ;) Need more time, sunlight and good weather! :P (Emac Judge, Deputy, Nomad, Envy, PA-1, Knife, Gui, Rune, Marshall, and soon P Model S and JOKERi, this summer will be rad!)
@@Iliyena87 I putt in my back yard with flash lights almost every night. Burn my trash for heat. Or dry clothes and goto the vent. Mine is duraflex too and it's little more stable then the nomad. Nomad is super glidey flys further than any of my putters.

sick video! really don't want to be a karen but was getting a little nauseous with all the zoom in/outs, cuts and follow flights. love the content tho!
Mentioned it on another video, will throw it out here too lol I’m loving all your content, but man you talk fast. 😳You even sound out of breath at times. I think if you could slow down your speaking a bit, it would do wonders for the overall presentation. Thanks again for the great content!!
