The rockwork and terracing alone are worth almost the asking price for the entire property if you were to build it today! It's my idea of what a romantic home should be, I adore everything about it. I can almost see Liz and Dick staying there, and fabulous parties all over the property! It makes me happy to know such places exist. Bravo to the owner/ architect of this slice of paradise.

Wow wow wow, I thought it was going to be well over two million. It’s spectacular, so much love must have gone it to doing all of it to the smallest detail. Yes, it is! Considering that in So CA, one house that is only 2400 sq ft with a small yard and two car garage, goes for $1.2 million! So crazy.

This property has me overwhelmed and somewhat at a loss for words. I can't believe how many buildings there are, and each one is cleaner than the next. Work shop?? I've eaten (unfortunately) in places that weren't half as nice. Besides the great views and wonderful outdoor spaces, I liked many of the small touches...like the radiator covers in the master bedroom. Nick, thank you for giving us this tour and thoroughly exploring the property! You've earned a vacation.

The master bathroom is great. I have seen some really hideous bathrooms and kitchens from the late 70s-early 80s. Just awful stuff. That bathroom is really lovely and tasteful

Pristine…..❤❤❤…the white areas caught my attention, brick work around the fireplace, I held my breath when I caught sight of the white bed cover in house #2…the lamps shades are unique, the scones are beautiful, all is high quality, and best of all, spotless, you can eat off any surface…some lucky, lucky, lucky persons are going to be very, very, very happy here. That opening "tease" LOL! love it nick! but that tease delivered! the grounds and view are already showstoppers but then, oh my, what follows!!! oh this is the lap of luxury :) years and years of tlc have gone into this jewel! what can i say? this place rocks! it's pure class... from room to room, house to house it is enchanting! the richness of the absolutely lovely stone and wood, the design so very easy on the eye how could anyone improve a thing? what more could one need? even the mechanicals are meticulous. oh goodness me - living here would feel like a year round vacation wouldn't it? i could totally get lost here and hope nobody would find or interrupt me LOL it thought you were going to reveal a quite higher price for this ideal property! good show friend!

Nick, you made a mistake while filming this week. At 5:16, you said we don't need to see any more. You could have said that at the opening shot! Fantastic property with an incredible price. Lots of potential. Good bones, but the spaces are very cut up. I see a perfect property for family visits. I like more old world charm and would probably renovate the main house and add an alfresco dining area with wisteria. Thanks Nick!

I totally agree. Normally I agree with Nick’s assessment of these properties but the main house is screaming to be redone (especially the kitchen 😳). All the finishes need to be redone (is that laminate on the ceilings?) as well as the bathrooms. That said, the property on the outside is well maintained and the infrastructure (heat and air, etc) seems to be in good order . Price seems to reflect that they know the house needs updating. It would be fun to see someone buy it who could reimagine it. The guest houses add value as well

The possible number of permutations for use of the various buildings and the rooms within is staggering, and as you point out... it seems that every possible amenity and contingency has been foreseen and addressed, from the full property generator, the warning light system, the poolroom, workshop, sauna, BBQ area, gazebos... even the exercise room which (although exercise equipment terrifies me personally) is a miniature version of any well appointed profession gym. I suppose if a gym were not your thing, all those mirrors would also lend themselves perfectly to being a dance or ballet studio (or just a nice space for narcissists). Clearly the pool is magnificent, the grounds incredible, and the visual interest created by all the different levels, terraces, pathways, plantings, and seating areas is phenomenal. Seems to me that there are barely enough superlatives in the dictionary to do this particular property justice. As always, thank you so much for taking us along on this amazing tour.

Hands down you provide the best overviews, descriptions and videos of these homes and properties on the internet. The history of the most of these properties is always truly amazing and your enthusiasm is infectious. Did I mention the history? Oh My!.... I am rethinking and pondering a summer home in Italy one day. One suggestion please. A simple aerial or drone shot might make it easier, at least for me, to see the relationship to the buildings and views and the property and the true beauty of these stunning homes.
