I Think I Met Half The City in Iloilo, Philippines
My first day visiting Iloilo was a success as I tried Batchoy and met many local Filipinos during a parade. Iloilo, Philippines has modern amenities with nature throughout the city as well. It's a great option for a place to live for someone looking for a smaller city in the Philippines. Thanks for watching!

My timing was just behind all of the festivals! I went to Cebu city right after Sinulog and Iloilo right after Dinagyang! There are so many festivals in the Philippines I can’t keep up with them all 😅

While I certainly never caught anyone's attention like Jonathon does, my experience in the philippines was similar in the fact that I've never met so many wonderful and happy people in my life. So kind and willing to talk and meet new people. I love it there and can't wait to live there permanently!

@@travelescapesOFFICIAL you can rent a small boat and explore 6 islands in 1 day. If you like you can stay at my house in Balasan and that’s very close to the Gigantes. My brother lives next door he can lend you his motorcycle to go around and he can also guide you where to go. Let me know if you’re interested. Also you can go to roxas city which only 1 hr from Balasan.

Based in Manila but worked with people from all major cities/provinces all over the PH. Undoubtedly, the people from Iloilo are the best! They're just the sweetest! In fact you'll never hear an Ilonggo get angry on the phone. Never.. Love them. ❤

Not yet, and I would never. The only hint I see that thet are angry is when they'll tell you what they're about to do. And still sound sweet and clam when they say it.

Yep, our tone is very singsongy even when we're upset. The funny thing here in Manila is we can always tell who are also Ilonggos based on how they speak, and we instantly bond.

Iloilo is rapidly growing into a tourist center in the Philippines. I have several friends from there and I'd even venture to say that the people from Iloilo are among the happiest, easy going and laid back in the world, I must admit that I've never seen a person in the Philippines that wasn't happy. Our world leaders could learn a thing or two from the people of the Philippines.
