Actually, if you replay the scene when they first met, the first place that she did stare was his chest. It's quite subtle, you wouldn't see it unless you rewatch it several times.

I thought at first maybe they try to find angle best for the camera scene since the height of the 2 of them is quite big n even though i suspect that she can see it on their 1st meet i didnt even made the connection until recently 😅😅
She can see the sword from the start. If you rewatch the umbrella scene when they 1st meet, her eyes see towards his chest 1st before his eyes. Since she can see ghost she might think its just another random ghost anyway.
The grandmother who appears here is a god who appears in Korean folk beliefs as 'sam shin'. It helps in childbirth and protects mothers and children, And her biggest role is to choose the child and give it to the woman.
She saw the sword in his chest from the very first day they met but she didn't say anything about it because it was inappropriate on her part to say anything about it because she didn't know how he would react if she should say something about it. And the part about the her ringing the doorbell, they were scared because for 60yrs, none of them has used the doorbell because they've been walking through walls to get in and out of the building. The way you guys go "aww" when Ji Eun Tak being her cute self is so me whenever i'm coming back to this drama because with Goblin there is always a comeback. Like the story, the acting, the characters everything is so on point.
Shin has lived a solitary life for the most part for over 900 years. He's surprised at Eun Tak telling him she's his bride especially since she didn't let on that she could see the sword. Eun Tak doesn't necessarily have romantic love for Shin, but she has nobody on her side, and the thought that she could be his bride and have a family (which is what she thinks being his bride will mean) is very appealing to her. Plus, he's handsome and he's got money, so yeah she wants to be around him. Shin likes her, but since he doesn't believe she's really his bride (since he believed she couldn't see the sword) he pushes her away. Also, Reaper's name isn't Sunbae. It's a term that means 'senior'. Technically right now, Reaper doesn't have a name. And lastly, lol something happens when Reaper touches someone that he'd rather not happen, so he avoids touch. You'll find out later what that something is.
Goblin doesn't like blood. There is an old folk story. An old man live in the mountains. One afternoon the Goblin came to the old man's front porch. Goblin asked the old man if he can rest here for a bit and leave. Every day the Goblin would come and talk to the old man everyday. One night the old looked in the mirror and noticed he was starting to look like the Goblin. The next day the old man asked the Goblin what he dislike. Goblin said blood. He hates blood. Then the Goblin asked the old man what he dislike. The old man said gold/money. The following day the old man pored pigs blood all over his front porch. When the Goblin came he ran away! He later came and covered the old man's house in gold making him the richest man in town. That is the story why we found out that the Goblin does not like Blood. That is why the grim wreper put blood on the floor.
54:35 the bell scene is so funny 😂 if you watch Goblin special eps, they showed us behind the scenes istg the casts are hilarious. Especially Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, they both love throwing ad-libs in the script 😂
I recommend Coffee Prince, the legendary drama of 2007 that was a legendary drama for the male lead in 2007 You can see the youthfulness of the male protagonist in a wall-made drama that's not tacky even now It's a drama loved by all actors and actresses who are close to syndrome in Korea

The Goblin's & Grim Reaper's banter & bromance is almost the best part of this show lol. P.S. the GR actor is very unique looking & attractive but the Goblin actor is much more handsome, in my opinion. (Hey, u know the Goblin is main lead dad from Train to Busan & the slapping recruiter from Squid Game right?)
@@YaBoyRockLee The grim reaper is in a drama called touch your heart with the actress who plays Sunny. That drama is so good and was a huge hit because fans of Goblin really wanted to see those two in a drama together again.
About the blood thing, in the Korean stories about the goblins, they're scared of chicken blood. The grim reaper wrote that sign in chicken blood, that's why he freaked out lmao
Back when I first saw this drama I thought grim reaper was more handsome but now in my mid 20’s, rewatching this, damnn Goblin is faaaar more of my type and what I’d call handsome lol 😂

Btw, him and Gong Yoo (the actor who plays Goblin) are best friends irl. You should see their Behind The Scenes footage, they were cracking up constantly ^^

She saw the sword from the beginning, from the moment they met in the 1st episode. If you watch her eyes closely, you can see her looking at the sword before she makes eye contact with him. Also before she follows him to Quebec in that conversation when she's explaining how she first thought he was a ghost, she looks at his sword. Also in this video at 30:57 when he asks whether she sees it or not, you can see her looking at the sword.

You may know this already but just in case you don’t…..in Korea 20 is adult age….like 18 is adult age in the US….so at 19 she still isn’t an adult and she’s still in high school. 20 in Korean age isn’t actually 20 years old either….they usually figure age differently there and their actual age is less than what there number age is. They usually consider the day you are born to be 1 year old. I think they are now changing the way they figured age to go along with how age is figured internationally….but when this show was made it was still figured the old way. So technically she’s still a minor…..like you were thinking.

Comment about one scene of the show (my personal thought) It is a spoiler so I’ll hide it. I think the rain “is” hers. The goblin said that it is his because she doesn’t like the fact that it rains every time she is depressed. After he said that, the rain stopped because she felt better because of him. It is a lie that he did for her to feel better and she knows that. My personal thoughts!
