You're right about the constraints the small space in cards place upon us. As a person who uses more words than necessary, I've developed the art of judicious editing, and I'm sure those with whom I correspond are thankful
"There's a fish in the tree, and it's made of plastic." sounds very much like the opening line of one of your stories - mayhap you should consider using it ^_~
I write so that the voices in my head can go onto a new topic. Otherwise they drive me crazy, same words over and over again until I write them. I guess I write for my characters. 😂
