Lol I delivered an extra pizza to a guy yesterday by accident and he's like "I didn't order this?" I just went "uhh it comes like that" and quickly got back in my car praying he didn't call the shop. They had to make an extra pizza cause they couldn't figure out where the extra one went lol.
Maybe. In the words of a German WWI general, "One must beware of anyone who is both stupid and hardworking; he must not be entrusted with any responsibility because he will always only cause damage."
The fact that he says “no it does both, I was here yesterday” instead of “you’re right” is endlessly funny. This is brilliant on many levels, but that’s probably my fav.
@@stevejones5075 ‘pretty good’ is a bit of an understatement. I actually analyzed RU-vid comments made by random mfs and his comment was in the top 23,000, which is above the 85th percentile
For anyone who has managed to completely BLOW IT during the very last moments of an otherwise successful first date, job interview, spousal spat, PTA conference or just a meeting at work - this is utter perfection.
When he starts drooling from the exertion 🤤😂 The unwavering conviction of this man! The stubborn determination he possesses in his refusal to admit his mistake in front of a prospective employer is absolutely compelling. Fantastic skit, 10/10.
My cousin showed me this show while visiting. I had never heard of it, had no context for what it was about, and this first scene had me crying in laughter. What a treat some things are.
This skit drives me to tears every time I watch it. It’s a combination of visual and audio hilarity, his awkward stare at his could be new boss, and the flawless orchestra of wooden parts creaking. The sound of the door breaking is what kills me every time
The writing is incredible. Like there’s so many points the skit could stop and be funny, but they squeeze every bit of funny out of every skit and it’s damn near perfect. Best sketch shows since Chappelle have been Gilly & Keeves and I Think You Should Leave
yea this was the first sketch of the show, unfortunately it seemed to go downhill from there. he's funny in an awkward way but wastes a lot of it on weird ass potty humor that just sort of misses the mark, at least in my opinion
The interviewers expression reminds me of John Goodman for some reason. Also imagine how funny this must have been while filming before the sound design was added.
I like to come back to this every now and again, it makes me friggin cry every single time🤣🤣😭 The other guy's face is so hilarious that just brings me to tears 🤣🤣
Tim Robinson... I had no idea!!! I went to school with him & he has always been super funny, but I didn't know he wrote for snl and these sketches!? Awesome!!! 😁
Such a simple concept written & executed with amazing precision. This, Brian's Hat & the Suit Store are definitely my 3 favourites from this brilliant show. I can't wait for Season 3 at the end of this month.
What a way to start off the series. I was laughing so hard. The only sketch that made me laugh harder was the one where he's choking in the restaurant. This show is amazing!
This is one of the best opening sketches of all time, simply because it's a test of how you'll respond to the show itself. If you grimace and it annoys you, you're not part of the Turbo Team. If it makes you titter and guffaw? You're STILL not part of the Turbo Team....we have a process, can't just allow anyone into the group.
Funniest thing is that the door in real life actually does open in the direction Tim is pulling. You can see by where the handle and the hinges are placed at the end of the sketch.
this is meant to be a "haha this would never happen" joke but i actually watched a customer do this at the store i used to work at with my own two eyes. to an automatic door.
The interviewers face watching him slowly pry the door open reminds me so much of the scene from It's Always Sunny when the gang just emotionlessly watches Frank choke nearly to death on his food.
Remember the video of the toddler who was eating an onion that he thought was an apple? Tears streaming down his face but he keeps taking bites because he won’t admit he was wrong. Same energy.
Everyone keeps talking about how this show reminds them of Tim and Eric, and so did I. I watched all the episodes while thinking this and guess who pops up near the end? TIM!!!!!
I came here because this legit happened to me in an interview, it was a sliding door and I kept pulling and pushing it thinking it was a swinging door.. I have a bachelor's degree in Interior Design and I didn't know how to open a door 🤦🏻♀️
Does nobody else notice that the door has no handle on the outside with which to pull it open from the outside, but the handle is on the inside and you're supposed to push it open from the inside?
It looks like the door actually is meant to be pulled from the inside, but they added wood to the inside along with close ups of breaking hinges and creaking sounds to make it appear that he's forcing it in the wrong direction.
I was helping out with some remodeling of my old house and we we're replacing some of the doors and some of the panels in the door way so i reenacted this scene, opening a door like this is more difficult than one may think.
I laughed so hard just THINKING back to the door splintering that I choked on my drink to the point that it was briefly scary. This is the funniest goddamn thing I have ever seen (sorry Tim and Eric's Sexual Romance, you've been moved down to the second slot.)
