My best friend in high school shot a nail straight through his hand with a nail gun when we were roofing his families house once. He looked at me, I looked at him, and he went “i think I fked up” before the shock and panic set in and we spent the next 20 mins scrambling to the hospital. I remember vividly thinking “fk what if he loses nerves in his hand? He’s a fiend at baseball, what if he can’t play anymore?” I was so worried. When I finally went in to see him after surgery, much like parapper here, we just kinda stood there. I’ll never forget what he said to me. “I fking jesus’d myself, man.” It took all of a second for that to sink in before we were laughing till we cried and I threw up in the wastebasket from laughing so hard. Good times :)
@@KhezuOnYourScreen bad end, I’m afraid. Nerve damage was too severe and his grip strength was halved. He later confided in me a few years later and said he was kinda glad though. When I asked why, he told me it was because it was his parents that really wanted him to play’. They were living out their dreams through him and the pressure was enormous and It wasn’t fun for him anymore. So silver linings I guess…?
@@ApexBovine *Damn.* I seriously hope he’s doing good and his sense of humor in bad situations is still intact. It’s how I’ve coped with bad stuff for about 15 years now. Always feels good to lighten the mood a little bit.
You know, you didn’t have to turn a duck slamming his “penith” in the car door into an emotional, beautifully animated video. But you did. And damn did you do a fantastic job!
Actually if his penith didnt got any damage to meat and only got cut out he can "attach" it back if he goes before 24 hours I say this from my personal experience with dicks cut in half
I love how both Daffy and PaRappa burst into laughter at the end, like they can’t help but acknowledge how silly the situation is, made it feel more realistic. :)
Parappa is such a kind person, comforting Batman when he was sad, and taking daffy to the emergency room immediately when he thammed his penith in the car door.
Parappa is so caring, when he heard batman's parents died he gave him a long caring hug, and now when his freind ,daffy, is in trouble he instantly takes care of him and goes to the hospital, such a great guy 👍
I have been watching the evolution of shitposts since the 2000's, and I can honestly say that your [Emotional Version] series has been a welcome original creation. A difficult to describe blend of absurdist humor and sincere feelings - this is beautiful. Thank you for this. I will be watching your career with great interest.
The best part about this is how jarringly human Daffy's laugh is. We all have at least one extremely intense moment in our lives that's hilarious in retrospect and serves as a great story to laugh about later. But it's seemingly contradictory to the mood, so most writers intuitively wouldn't even consider a reaction like that, but it works here.
@@yappygaming5716 Idiocy is the only thing that truly binds all humans together. Everything else comes in flavors, but we all know the feeling of being an idiot. Erm, self correction, we all laugh and smile essentially the same, too, including deaf and blind people who may have *never* heard or seen one, themselves. Those connections make it possible for us to laugh away thlamming our penitheth in car doorth.
Parappa is friends with cartoon pop culture icons. He has to help his friends through dark and depressing happenings that eventually circle around to being hilarious. I would watch the FUCK out of this. It's like Captain Rainbow but slightly more sad.
You like legos so can you help should I order my missing lego peice for 5 bucks with shipping and 20 days of a wait or buy the set again for the skin pack too (its the ender dragon set and I used the wrong account)
I like how he's just so relieved he's not dead, he just laughs with parapa instead of freaking out about how he doesn't have most of his penith anymore
@@Worm_Void ducks penis' detach and grow back larger they are also corkscrews and they often remove them is there are other males around with larger sets
The hospital room window looks incredibly comforting, the sunset with the trees with the light breeze on the curtain, Idk how something as simple as a window would be so satisfying
I like how the person who made this video didn’t forget to make Parapa say “left left right left right right left left” made it feel more like a Parapa universe.
@@tyronejon-quay-veusjuniort1592 You dare question me? Jotaro or Joseph. Those are the only two JoJo's in part 3 (unless you count Jonathan in the 1st and 2nd op). And besides, Jotaro and Kakyoin were practically best buddies. Joseph would also do that with Caesar, but the other way around. (Caesar would be driving).
Sometimes characters who have they’re copyrighted society must be friends together By copyrighted society I mean Warner Brothers - Daffy Duck Sony - Parappa
Yes please. This is so well crafted. This video helped me realize what made the Batman one so good. It’s not just the character’s facial emotions, the environments are beautiful and really sell the emotions!!
First comforting Batman in the alleyway where he watched his parents die, and now saving Daffy after he slammed his weiner off. Parappa is a good soul.
Not-so-fun fact: You CAN actually DIE from an injury like that!! There's so many blood vessils down there that will, especially if you're hard, cause extreme ammounts of blood loss when busted open. Soooooo yeah, avoid slamming your penith in the car door or any other hyper serious injury
This is honestly so sweet and heartwarming. The scene where parappa smiled when he saw Daffy was okay and when they laughed over the situation was so sweet and cute
@@sadde5037 Imagine Daffy getting wheelchaired out of the hospital room and outside waiting with balloons, cards, and signs are all the viewers who were impacted by his meme.
@@lilr6199 yea, you may be right, the amount of pain you receive from your penith getting cut off is unbearablley high, it hurts so much that it may end the function of many body parts due to the Im en e pain and all pain killers will be uneffective
Parappa is living through harsh things happening to the people around him, but when he's there he considers his friends more than anything and does whatever he can to help them, Parappa is truly loyal and very caring.
Drug addiction is serious. This was a sobering moment for more than just daffy... it was an eye opener to us all about the dangers of narcatotics and sexual ventures (I.e. CBT)
He's just...really glad his friend is okay, and once he realizes it, they can both have a long, loud laugh about it. But only once he knows his friend is alright. ❤️ Damn this hit hard.
Daffy Duck makes a full recovery from slamming his penith in the car door. He goes on to have two children, teaching them well of the dangers of slamming one’s penith in the car door. He dies at the ripe old age of 93, surrounded by those he loved most. However, at the funeral, they slammed his penith in the casket door.
That took an unexpected turn at the end. (Also, I _want_ to like your comment, but you're at 69 likes and I don't want to ruin that.) EDIT: Okay, someone else destroyed it. Have my updoot. 😁
I haven’t cried in years. My heart has become hardened by the loads, and stress, and pain I have to bear for the people that depend on me. If I cry I break. This little animation has managed to put tears on my cheeks. Miste…. Thank you for making something to help me express something I didn’t know resided in me. I am going to run now. I want to run until I can’t anymore.
Everyone look up true facts about ducks. They can shoot their 12 inch corkscrew out like a projectile and lose it after its been used. It grows back before mating season
@@cosmologicalturtle9528 Well, you know... These things happen from time to time 🤷🏾 (Yeah, I don't think many people thlam their penithes in the car door though)
"I gotta believe. I gotta believe. I gotta believe." Parappa mutters to himself as he waits in the hospital waiting room, hoping for good news of his friend's condition.
I love how well this is made and how the emotions are conveyed. Like how Daffy starts laugh and Parappa is confused so you can assume that he's laughing about the fact he can't believe he slammed his penis in the car door. Parappa confused at first but decides to laugh after seeing daffy is making light of the situation like "yeah, I guess that is pretty dumb you did that". Just an amazingly well crafted masterpiece
I can't help but imagine them running into the emergency room, having a nurse ask what happened, and then Daffy just goes "I thlamed my penith in the car door" in rhythm
"I thlammed my penith in the car door." The words were so steady and calm that Parrappa almost didn't register what Daffy had said, too enraptured by the meteor shower they'd come all this way to watch together for it to be more than a passing sound initially. But after a moment, the gravity and absurdity of the words began to sink in. Was Daffy trying to start a rap? That was the oddest opening verse he'd ever- Oh God he wasn't joking that was a LOT OF BLOOD holy SHIT he needed to get Daffy to the hospital RIGHT THE FUCK NOW. And then the next thirty minutes were a blur. With one good shove Daffy was resting in the passenger seat, clinging to consciousness as best he could for a while before losing it entirely, his wide eyed and pained expression distant. Parappa couldn't help glancing back and forth between his friend and the road, desperately praying that unconsciousness hadn't dropped into just plain death - there was blood, so much blood, it was getting all over his car, how could a body have so much - before going back to the traffic in front of him, desperately applying the things he'd learned in driver's ed. Left, right, gas, gas, gas, he had to go faster, he had to make it, Daffy was counting on him, gas, gas, gas, left, right- And then time stopped. The doctors took one Mr. Duck back into the ICU, saying something about venular trauma and nervous repair. Parappa was alone. Waiting. Helpless, with no clue whether or not he'd made it in time. The guilt began to settle in as the rapper and self-proclaimed hero numbly took a seat. Oh God. He had no clue if he'd made it in time. Did Daffy have a family of any sort? A mother or father? A spouse? Kids? Truth be told Parappa hadn't asked him about it. All he'd ever cared to mention was a Bugs Bunny, a supposed "best friend" he lived with. And now here he was with Daffy's life on the line and nobody to call. Maybe he wasn't a hero after all. Maybe all the critics had been right... "Mr...Rappa?" The nurse's voice made him jolt, then look up with big, vulnerable eyes. "Mr. Duck has asked for you, he's in room 420." He was alive. He was alive. Parappa felt himself stand. He was alive. Daffy was alive. In the next moments he felt his mind simultaneously rush in lightyears and trudge through oceanic pressure. His hands were clammy and numb. Daffy was alive. But by how much? How badly was he hurt by the car? How much longer would the hospital keep him? Would he ever be the same? Was he awake...? Those buzzing questions went still and quiet when he finally, finally peeked his head into room 420. There he was. Daffy was sitting up, completely awake and aware of his surroundings, even looking out at the early morning sky. (When had it become morning?) He watched it for a few seconds more before turning to face Parappa with a smile. The rapper let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. Thank god. Thank god. He walked forward to talk to the duck, but the first thing his friend did was open his arms. Nevermind the hospita gown, nevermind the odd angle of the hug, nevermind the hours he'd spent being cut open and put back together. He wanted a hug from the guy who brought him here. A hug Parappa was more than willing to reciprocate, especially having spent hours worrying over his life and praying to gods he didn't believe in that he would survive. An odd sound came from over his shoulder. A...chuckle?? Daffy pulled away and erupted in sudden, almost manic laughter in that signature quacking voice of his. Parappa couldn't help but be first horrified, then confused. Daffy was *laughing.* He'd nearly lost his life and he was *laughing* about it. He just went through more pain than anyone ever should, through an incredibly invasive surgery that would probably leave him dependent on others for a long while, and he was *laughing* about it. ...but slowly, slowly, the humor of the situation hit him. It was sick, it was bizarre, it could be downright offensive to some. But all of this fuss and worrying and rushing about had happened. Because Daffy slammed his penis in the car door. He grinned despite himself. Daffy slammed his penis in the car door. The grin became a contained chuckle, and then, matching Daffy's energy, he broke out into loud, body-shaking laughs that surely disturbed the rooms next door---but neither of them could help it. What a bizarre, terrifying, hilarious few hours they had just been through together. When the laughter finally died down, the tense energy in the room reset to zero, Daffy leaned his head back with a sigh against the provided pillows, then looked over at Parappa with a faithful expression, something between a "thank you" and an "I'm glad you're here." And Parappa would be lying if he said he didn't feel the same, despite the weird and sometimes selfish behaviors Daffy had. It was still nice to spend time with him, to watch meteor showers and sunrises. To laugh and to drive and to eat together. Life was richer with his friend in it. Parappa wouldn't take that for granted ever again.
Wow. Just... WHOA. I am speechless in all the best ways. As a writer, I can say that this is some of the most heart-rending stuff I've ever read. Good job. 👑
Daffy is so used to people laughing at his misfortunes these days. It has been so long since someone has cared about his well being as he did these crazy stunts. At the end he can’t help but laugh, as he felt that he may of did the joke wrong, but he made a new friend after all of it. Maybe he won’t have to go that wild again.
I like how memes have evolved from being ironic jokes to then have those same jokes change into something wholesome and uplifting like the fucking snail chase meme all over again
You take that back, Castlevania is among that list and I will Hydro storm you into oblivion if you ever suggest anything could touch that masterpiece again
I know right and they're so good at it too! It feels natural and really blends in. It's takes talent to be able to have 2D animation with a 3D background look that nice.
I think it's because of the window and the sky at the end. It gives off a bittersweet, yet beautiful vibe that reminds me of those movies from the 2000's. And the music, too.

"Parappa?" The dog lifts his head- he'd been barely awake after the stress of driving his friend to the ER- speeding. Barely avoiding crashing into an ambulance when he got to the ER. "Daffy has woken up. He is doing better... but it will be a long recovery. He asked to see you, however." "Daffy?" "Parappa..." *The duck holds his arms out and Parappa smiles, returning the gesture with a hug... And all they end up doing is laughing. Nearby, a fellow friend watches... and smiles. He knew he had picked well with Parappa. Wrote this one quick. Tired from car expenses and class.
This is way too good for what it was lmao The two of them laughing at the end was what really got me Parappa was so worried for his friend, and so relieved seeing that he made it through the surgery. Daffy begins to laugh, realizing the absurdity of the situation. His friend had been so worried for him and his penith which he thlammed in the car door. And Parappa laughing too, both out of amusement and out of relief, realizing that his friend would be fine, even if his penith isn’t
