He wasn't gay at all,.Norm was just very conscious of his audience, and Norm was the one guy in modern times who had no problem addressing the most taboo or controversial topics straight on, without excuses or a PG rating. Norm Macdonald had absolutely no problem using the vernacular of a 13 year old pubescent boy ;complete vulgarity and use of overtly graphic analogy or metaphor . Norms' sexuality is beside the point to his ability to transcend those social labels that often hold us back from all laughing uncontrollably and deliver a joke that is outrageous and funny to everyone, no matter how badly he offended the so called standard of our society or the morals of the old men that control this world!
This is easily my favorite bit that anyone's ever done. It was absolutely perfect beginning to end, and it could've gotten derailed at any point by the guest.
there were a lot of those during the podcast. sometimes the guest even would derail, or attempt to, and either Adam would steer them back or Norm would just plow on and talk over the guest, which was often funnier.
The guest thought Norm was going to say something cliche about thinking it was a western. When talking with Norm, you never know where the jokes start and end, or who it’s on. And the joke’s on the homophobe with jizz on his face, in the movie theater.
Jizz is, uhmmm, a comedy collective, a united artists if you will, uniting Sarah Silverman, Reggie Watts, Michael Cera, Tim and Eric. And what do they do? They do whatever they dream up. They shoot it and it goes on there, they can fail, they can do well, it's total freedom.
