I noticed that all converts are completely convinced before converting. Islam doesn't force anyone. It goes deep down in the heart then you feel your soul embraced by Islam. At that moment you are convinced and your faith is strong.

Mashallah sister. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I was born and raised an atheist in a secular country in Scandinavia. I converted to Islam last year after doing my research and being amazed with the Quran. It just healed me from lifetime of anxiety and issues with myself. But the transition has also been difficult, and some days I get so tired of feeling like a stranger in my own country. Your words gave me confidence and strengthened my emaan. Its just a matter of how you practice and eager to learn deeper of Islam. Allah loves us coz He choses us among all to become a muslim. We just have to find the greatest love for Allah.
You know sometimes I feel sorry for people who have been born in communities that don't have any idea about Islam and raised to not believe in it, but I feel more sorry for myself and other people who have been born Muslims in an Islamic cummunity, speaking Arabic and can see and feel the beauty of Quran in its original language and still feel distant from god... Sometimes I talk to myself " what do you want, Allah gave you an advantage! Made it easier for you to know the truth and realise the real meaning of this life, wake up! " Still don't feel 100% commited, I make mistakes but Alhamdulillah I'm getting better and better and always aspire to be a better muslim. Don't give up brothers! Work hard to be a better person and Allah will help and guide you

I too have been diagnosed with anxiety and was prescribed medication abayo. After doing some research, I realized that there are many better alternatives for treating anxiety than meds. SubhanAllah! Daily prayer and a little bit of CBD oil has done wonders for my anxiety. Thank u sister .u brought in a very important point about having music and reading Quran or reciting Allah holly words dose not come together . I do love music but when ever doesn't disturbs when time of prayer or reading Quran or listening . it's definitely nothing important then coming back to reality and follow what Allah want from us. ونعمة بالله العلى العظيم والحمد الله
I watch these videos and I wish I could live openly in my conversion. I recently converted and I want to practice openly and wear hijab but I have to hide my conversion. Some of my friends and family are aware but the community I live in is very small and white and racists. I would probably lose my job and my life would be in danger if I wore a hijab in public. It is really sad that there are parts of America that are so racist still. I wish it could be like other countries, where racism doesn’t hardly exist. I wear my hijab in my house and I pray and try to learn about Islam from RU-vid videos from respectable Imams like Dr. Shabir Ally. There is no mosque in my town or near my town. I do not think there are any other Muslims in my town. 😢😢 if there are they stay quiet too. If you are a Muslim and you can practice openly and wear Islamic clothing, please consider yourself blessed. Some of us live in communities where it is not accepted at all. Maybe someday Allah will provide me an opportunity....Inshallah
