I find that most of the older hotels tend to be in some of the best locations. They also tend to have larger suites than most of the newer hotels. Great for family getaways.

We drove past that hotel a few months ago...had to navigate the cattle wandering along in front. Those islands out front are apparently called "Breast Islands". We really like the area just north of the night markets at Dolphin Bay...not too developed yet. I think those rock lobsters were actually mantis shrimp ("gung"). Great video.

What is the crab variety? I may be wrong but would this be swimmer crab? Sometimes we get swimmer crab in the states but of course it's pasteurized and canned. Not blue crab which is what we harvest where I live in the south near the gulf but the swimmer is always so free of shells and a pretty nice product for jumbo or colossal lump. Please expound anyone that can help me know what this crab is that's available here in Thailand.
Yeah buddy i was looking online the other night pretty cheap only about 4-5000thb we will be going to Bangkok next week at some stage so we will suss out a few shops there
Booby Beach!!! One of my favoirite hotels and beaches in the world.... Been goin there 20 years. You can drive on that beach mate - I've driven cars, salengs and bikes down that beach - it's a proper marked road. When the tide is out, it's a great footy or cricket beach!! The other gaff is called Brassiere Beach, after the booby islands...

Partied with an Aussie like the Breaking Bad look alike one night in Coron palawan in 2017 , had to go out the back door of bar we were in...he was raising 10 kinds of hell. Military trucks showed up and took him outside..... never saw him again. Good times!
Hmmm....3000 baht a bit exe for a relatively small room "secret" place or not. Nice beach though with no people....better value for similar price is Holiday Inn with the massive water park great for kids...and you can still drive to that beach. Depends what you are looking for in accommodation location I guess.
