I am glad you said that. I am about to take a pay cut. My current job is in NY and I pay $80 a day traveling from NY to CT. I was offered a position in the state I live in but it pays less and it less stressful. I just need a peace of mind.
Commute is a LARGE part of your salary. The stress and cost associated with commuting can be detrimental to your health. The commute is the first thing I think about with a job offer!
I am 18 I am depressed upset have addictions and have parents that are forcing me to become a doctor or computer engineer and all I want to be is happy and live a life where I am truly happy They say first you must love yourself then you can love others I have acne look horrendous all because I am living my life for someone else not for me I hope I am able to find a job that allows me to enjoy life because only Allah knows when I will die
I wanted to be an actor and stunt person since I was 6. My family wanted me to go to school. I went three times and never finished. I just wanted to be happy. I was in a movie, got my SAG card, etc. Now I am almost 40 and I regret not focusing on getting a job that would make me lots of money and offer that security. Money offers freedom and freedom offers all the time to do what you want. It’s not about the job. It’s about what that job allows you to have when you aren’t at the job. I am filled with regrets. I am sure nothing I say can get you to understand as I was extremely stubborn when I was younger …. Just get that schooling done. Enjoy it though. Enjoy the process. Having financial security is so important.
