Best way to spoil a kid ……….. take him fishing when the reds are runnin’ . You got to be sure to explain that it isn’t that way all the time. This was a great trip. You are a great captain to share your good times and bring others into the sport . I’m 76 years old and a lot of my fondest memories are of days spent with kids learning what fishing is all about . I’m forever grateful for the time that I had on the water with my dad . He was a great teacher and got me “hooked on fishing “! Best habit a guy or gal can have . Tight lines ………!

Are you fishing in St Augustine (or somewhere else close by) in this video? It looked like the St Augustine lighthouse in the background my wife said. If so, what bridge are you fishing under? I love to take my kid out there for some of those reds. I think it would have him set for life as far as fishing is concerned. Every time I took him out in the past, we just went for largemouth bass, sometimes we got stuff sometimes not, and it was so stinking hot! At least it looks nice and windy from the boat where you guys are. Awesome what you're doing like people are saying and taking kids out. Did you show him how to get the saltwater quail from the collar on that fish? Redfish collars have to be one of my favorite fish collars along with tilefish collars. I don’t waste the collars on any fish tho. I even save em off my crappies.
