When COVID finally passes, you guys, along with the biggest polyglot / Chinese speaking waigoren youtubers (i.e. Laoshu50500, Xioma etc....) should get together say in say Los Angeles (biggest media capital in the world with the biggest Chinese population outside of China) and have an epic gathering of the "Avengers of Chinese Speaking RU-vidrs" and have a multi day video crawl starting from the Beach Cities (Redondo, Venice, Hermosa Beach), Downtown LA, Disneyland and make it all the way to the heart of the Chinese community in the San Gabriel Valley. ....
Did you know that Communist China has killed and imprisoned more people than Nazi Germany and Communist Russia combined? They care not for their brethren and they ignore the Natural Rights of men to which John Locke articulated so if you really care about the Chinese people then I suggest you open your eyes to the truth and disavow yourself to this tyranny.
This was great to see a little more of Amy by having her long time friends in the vlog. The reminiscing moments with Izzy and Alex captured the deep friendship you all have for each other. Kudos to them for not being camera shy. Hopefully they can join you in future episodes. And, Amy - you make everything you order so yummy !
I just feel shameful about myself that as a Chinese myself, I have never eaten any of the food you showed in the video before! I'll definitely try them in the future, thank you, Amy!
I'm Chinese living in the US, there were so many negative news between the two countries but I always know ordinary American people are cool. Amy, thank you for reminding me it's the same case in Australia. When politicians go crazy, people like you are the hope.
You girls are so funny and thanks for sharing your friendship with your best friends here. You girls really make me lol from time to time! Wow the food is so nice! But I must correct you Amy, meat pie is a very British concept without being bias, especially in East London (Pie and Mash)... :) And at the end of the video when Izzy said it's her least favourite dish "Just because it feels healthy", lol - I can so relate to it!!!!
Has anyone ever thought to rent a room in a community dominant in the language they’re studying? Here in California we have several cities dominant with Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Spanish. It has helped me practice when I visit the supermarkets and restaurants.
You guys are so lucky that these people came all that way to cook for you to enjoy! Here (Manchester, UK) all we've is Cantonese, Cantonese and more Cantonese. Arrgh.
Amy, I love your videos! I live in Sydney as well and have tried all the restaurants you went to in your videos... And I absolutely love your personality as well
@@BlondieinChina Me and my husband absolutely loved Lanzhou noodles and have been going to Burwood every other week just for that! You videos promote not just Chinese food, but also love and friendship between cultures, it is so refreshing... THANK YOU!!!
I really love you and your videos! I'm learning Chinese at the moment and watching your videos, helps me learn. I would love to meet up with you one day and go on a food tour with you
I cannot help think about my trip to Sydney in 2018. The variety and quality of Chinese food pleasantly surprised me. Given the relative small size of the city, it was absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
6:41 Totally agree. I think most of the people are afraid to try different styles of other Country's food. not just Chinese food. gonna try different food tomorrow
Gosh dang. I usually hate female chatter but your friends (and parents) are so warm, humorous and authentic that I instantly subbed. Why are you getting more subs and views? Best wishes for 2021
Should have warned your friends about the obligatory oil stains on your clothes while you eat the noodles lol. 😂 The food looks so good. I miss authentic Chinese food. Great video!
I come from Hong Kong! I like your video!i Practice English now,So I watch your video practice now, plus you have Chinese subtitles, so I like your video very much!
Everything looks so new and clean in Sydney. In the US, Chinatowns are normally in the older and cheaper neighborhoods. Food is good but the street view is subpar a lot of times...
Love Dainty Sichuan, been going to all their stores since forever. And spaghetti is from china anyway, brought back to Italy by Marco Polo, so not surprising that it reminds you of bolognese.
Many of the Chinese food in America that does not exist in China do exist in the Philippines (beef brocoli, chopsuey, egg rolls, Chowmien noodles cooked in American style, orange chicken....etc.)
Party pies are definetely the best snack, despit what the sausage roll crew might believe. They can be heated in the microwave or, if you are fancy, in the oven. Ideally, they will be burn your mouth molten in the middle or completely frozen. Never in between. The best parties cook them in batches that somehow end up both ways.
Dear Blondie.....you should know by now that China have many different food from different provinces. The most popular and commonly found ones are the Cantonese fare ....like Hongkong food. Even I have not tried many food from the different provinces because in Malaysia....most of the food are from canton, Hakka, fujian.
I’ve lived here my whole life and always wanted to experience more of China town but have always been too intimidate. So good that you’re a Sydney local too, cannot wait to try these places out!!
You should do an episode on dong bei food! (Coming from a Dong bei girl stuck in America with no good dong bei food around and drooling over that “salad” and the giant tie guo (iron pot))
Amy is always so positive with her delightful personalities. Food and travel promotes trade. China recently has a negative tone towards Australia and other former British colonies.
