You' re absolutely correct.Every where inthe world owning land is generational wealth,to pass down to your children and grandchildren.You can never be homeless,starving or poverty stricken if you know how to work farmland.Farmland is literally an organic supermarket in your backyard and even if you do not have excess money to lick out most times foolishly, you will never be reduced to begging for food. If I was a younger person, I would buy that farm from you and demonstrate self sufficiency in that village on that land, of every crop that can grow in that area.

¢2070 per bag of 64 kg... this government have not done all but have insignificantly increased the price ...the government moved it to ¢800 and then ¢1300 and now ¢2070 within 6 to 7 years is at least a solace for our farmers but they have to negotiate better deals which will help improve the ordinary farmer...I mean why are they not setting up factories to process our beans and get semi-finished our finished products like pomade,medicine,Milo, chocolate etc to give the youth of this country work rather than taking peanuts from these whites and putting food on their tables everyday, making their economy better whilst your citizenry go impoverished.....smh😢

Cocoa is not rampant in Nigeria. Are you kidding 😂 Nigeria used to be the largest cocoa producer before they discovered oil. Nigeria is currently the 3rd largest producer after Ivory Coast and Ghana.
