Columbus OH to Reno NV 4days of sleeping in a chair with 2 30min meal breaks per day, breakdowns and a layovers at 2am in Chicago. Hitchhiking would be faster and probably safer.
Back in the 90s, I was coming from The Sheraton Universal. I'm a white 35 year old dude wearing a white collared dress shirt and suit jacket in a Black BMW. There was a detour and I ended up lost in Watts at one in the morning on a Sunday. The locals wondered wtf and the LAPD beat cops kept tailing me. Once I saw the Randy's donuts big-ass donut in the sky I headed for it cause I knew the 405 South to OC entrance was just beyond it. You've got a good show Lamont. You brought back that memory! Funny now, not back then.
I myself got lost in the South Central Watts area of Los Angeles in January 1999. I was a homeless man coming from a shelter and I had to get all kinds of paperwork signed with the welfare office. The workers at the shelter gave me a ride there on Imperial and some bus money to go back to the shelter and I did not know the area. I was lost and walking around. Minding my own business, this black guy started following me. Then he started asking me for money. Then he started screaming at me to give him money. Right then and there a bus pulled up and I got on it no matter where it was headed. I am not a big person and I am not trained in karate by any measure. I was 32 years old at the time. How about 10 minutes later I got off the bus and I called the shelter telling them I was on a certain Street and it came and picked me up in one of their vans. It was right there and then I called my family and they got me money to get back home to New Jersey. Being lost in South Central was not a nice experience as I have heard of the place many times and NEVER thought I would end up anywhere near that place. They really are a type of species these blacks, aren't they? Rob, rape, and ruin. The three Rs which they enjoy so much.
Straight forward no filter and definitely not politically correct 😂 Lamont your videos are straight up real life and not sagar coated Keep up the great work your definitely on to something good
I've been living here in Vegas for 16 years now, I used to ride the bus for years. The RTC hasn't really gotten better , people are getting killed on the Vegas buses lately. Smh
BB you got lots of wisdom ! We don't want to encounter no content days into months from your channels, wondering what happened, finding out you should have got a lyft !
I haven't done a Greyhound bus since 1996. Back in the day! Safe travels, Lamont. It's dangerous out on these streets. You're in the wild, wild west. 😊
Lol, I admire you, Lamont, going to these places and telling these awesome real-life stories . And people who do live in their vehicles .....it takes g....ts to drive for your living and be a good driver to the point of everyday . Thx for your videos God bless you

Sorry to hear of your ordeal at the bus stop. However, tey not to lose your cool too intensely. Don't want you to have a stroke or something. We want you to be still out there, bringing us good stories
I tried to take the bus in Vegas 15 YEARS ago and had that same problem: NO BUS CAME for over an hour. That was the first and last time I attempted that.
It’s maybe just as well that bus didn’t come Lamont with 20%off the people only being ok you would definitely have needed a first class mask lol .Peace out Lamont 😂❤
Yep I had the greyhound bus experience back when I was in my twenties. A three hundred pound person sat next to me , some one across the aisle had a seizure. 😣 yah , there is nothing like having a car of your own to drive instead. 😊 Great video Lamont, stay safe. 💞👍
I got a terrific deal on an old Victorian mansion, and the reason why its value was so low is because the neighborhood has gone to shit and has tons of crime. You're right about the mix of fear and excitement that comes with being in dangerous parts of town. After a few months the feelings of fear greatly subside, but the excitement one remains, because you've gotta be ready to go at all times.
@@gokathygo I know. I just literally saw him say that in a short 5 mins ago. It used to make sense until j heard him say it now it just seems stupid. How is time money and why be obsessed with either
