Since your skin has changed from combo to dry and your acne has cleared, it would be cool to see you review some foundations that you reviewed before that were too oily or not enough coverage and see if you like them now with your skin type!

Brynn Gordon if you haven't tried the Laura Geller powder she always uses, you gotta give it a shot! Most powders look disgusting on me, but that one actually works. I thank Taylor in my mind whenever I use it... lol 😂
Jennifer Hernandez Find a yellow and a pink colour corrector or eyeshadow, put a sample from each on either side of your forehead, jawline and neck. Go look at it in full natural light and see which one tones better with your skin. Taking photographs will help, byt no shade or shadows, full sun. Do it 3 times at least so you have a range of photos to look at. As an artist that was one of the tricks I learned in art college to accurately figure out the skin tones for portraiture head and shoulders work. When you're trying to figure out what the closest tonal shades for a natural looking portrait of an individual any tricks and tips will help.

Wow, that foundation really was bad! But the rest of your makeup looked beautiful. Of course, I ran right to the Sephora site and took the test while you where talking. It did come up with one thing that I already have (and LOVE) which is the Dr. Jart Premium Beauty Balm with SPF 45 in the light/medium shade. At 70 years old, using things that look like heavy makeup is definitely NOT a good look for me. Less is more, if you know what I mean.

I've gotten too old for matte foundations. My skin is so dry and I hate how it looks on me. I have expensive foundations and drug store foundations, and my favorite, by far, has been the Cover Girl healthy elixir foundation. It just seems to have enough of some ingredients in it to help keep me looking young-ish.
Erica Pakluck I LOVE the CG Healthy Elixer! I’m in my 50’s and even though I’m still combo/acne prone I can’t wear matte or powder foundations any longer because they make my skin look dried out and accentuate lines. I can’t believe how awesome the foundation makes my skin look! Natural, glowing, great coverage but still looks natural. And it still holds up to the oil! I’ve tried more expensive foundations but I keep coming back to the Vitalist Healthy Elixer! I hope they never discontinue it 🙏🏻

I stopped wearing makeup now that I have terrible hormonal acne. I can’t seem to find any foundation that covers it, doesn’t make it worse, or pulls on my dry patches. I’m searching through all of your foundation videos to try to find one! So thankful that you’ve tried ones I was going to buy & saved me from the hassle of it!

Their skin care products are amazing. The genius serum in the green bottle is my favorite of all time! The genius moisturizer is amazing too it's so creamy and smells like cookies. I want to put it on my whole body!
Not drying at all! Mixes in so well with any product! I like mixing it in my foundations to make it seem like more coverage.. but it’s just an instant color corrector!
You should try the google chooses your makeup challenge! Type in on google your first and last initials followed by look. So if say a person named sarah Jenkins type in "SJ look" they would have to do a makeup look inspired by the first picture that comes up in images. I'll be doing it on my channel soon 👍

also i know these are the longest comments ever but i have never "met" or watched anyone with the same skin issues as me. like your issues with loose powders and how you have to apply certain things in such a specific and careful way or you lose coverage. this same thing happens to me AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY. i'm so thankful i found you. i know i don't really comment much, but girl i just had to express how much your videos have helped me! i appreciate all the effort and dedication you put into your content and your transparency with your skin issues. i know it can be really hard doing that in this day and age when it's all facetune and skin filters. but you have no idea how helpful it is that you show your skin as it is and talk about your skin, without hiding anything. it's helped me so much and you alone have changed my makeup game (and i can't even fathom how many more people you've helped) it's so great to have someone like you who is honest, genuine, and so sweet!

Love your videos! I actually got this foundation for my birthday last year and I am also in shade 3. This is definitely not a foundation for dry skin, but it works wonderful for those of us with oily skin! So crazy that it was recommended with radiant finish foundations...
