When putting the chains in an x pattern make shure you take the S hook and attach them from underneath not on the top of the tow vehicle, just another step for safety as something could hit the chains upwards and disconnect them. @3:20

For the trailer brake u can’t wrap it around the trailer think of if it comes off it’s wrapped around and can’t pull straight.

A little advice on towing. I'm not sure what your state laws are or how far you will travel, but I NEVER hook up my chains from trailer to vehicle (if I travel where there's going to be a lot of traffic or a short distance with minimal speed, I will hook up the safety chains) But if traveling in the country or where there's little traffic I won't hook up the chains - if your trailer and payload gets out of control it's going to take your $80k+ Durango with it and run the risk of injuring yourself & passengers when your trailer takes you for a ride. So now you have a trashed trailer with payload and trashed Durango. I seen too many horse trailer / car trailer accidents where the outcome was bad for all the vehicles and people involved. If the chains weren't connected all it would've been was just the trailer.

I don’t think wrapping the emergency cable around the hitch is a good idea. I could be wrong but if it disconnects that looks like it could prevent the brakes from activating by not letting the cable be pulled. I see the cable tightening around the hitch instead. Not looking to be a know it all just hoping to relay something that was possibly missed to prevent a major issue. Hate to see your car get messed up.
