Update- not entirely sure what was wrong but it appears 2 of the spark plugs were cracked and leaking compression. Changed the spark plugs and fires up now
Howdy, I did a similar project, i put an RX-1 engine into a arctic cat 1000 with a a rzr transaxle. i use the RX-1 cluster speedo, its only a couple mph off. i would think you could do the same with what you have. to get it spot on, you could try something like a Dakota-Digital-SGI-100BT-Speedometer-Tachometer interface. With the RX-1 engine, the primary pipes of the header need to be at least 18 inches long for power and efficiency, I would be surprised if you need the same. I suppose you could measure your stock header.
