Most ppl don’t realise how nasty and destructive these pigs are. I farm 700 acres in Hereford, England and wild pigs, bred from former pets that get released due to getting too big or hormonal and escapees from farms, they breed FAST. They have killed lambs in the spring and the ewes that were birthing them. Fields of crops like nice juicy carrots are rooted and decimated. I’ve set up a pen, provided a buffet and caught 28 of them. Now the freezer is full.

Me and my dad go to our deer lease and try to get as many as we can. Hogs are very destructive and one of the places we hunt has been taken over by them.

Instead of metal traps, try Pig Brig net traps! Apparently it’s a really good alternative that doesn’t scare the hogs and keeps the ones inside from escaping while also continuously allowing more pigs inside, so you don’t have to gamble when to trap.
