Thank you for your content! I was on one of your lives and you encouraged me to start an eBay store. I started it 3 weeks ago and already made some sales! Thank you for giving me that push. About to explore making content now!
so much fun to watch! those big post card things with game used, were in fact from Kmart lol i miss when they would go on sale for like i wanna say 5.99 they would come with a few packs plus that. and those bccg were from those mystery blaster boxes with a graded card
Very nice lot great pickup for sure a money maker and I love all the different years and brands definitely some sick cards great video thanks for sharing love watching your stuff just recently started watching and following but definitely love watching your finds.
My favorite video of yours yet! I believe earlier in the video you paid $600 for this lot?? What a steal! Love the fact that you focus your videos on the cool “low end” stuff.
Thanks for saying that! That means a lot. I was a little worried about such a long detailed video…but I knew that’s what I’d want to see myself, a deep dive. I love the low end…always have, always will.
Such a cool lot pick up!!! This is the type of lot that if I had bought I’d be so stoked and happy going through it. A bunch of cool cards of some really good/great players and personally if it was an RPA/auto/jersey/#’d or even just a RC of a player I liked and it was fetching just a dollar or so online then it’s straight to the PC without a 2nd thought. Good stuff man!
I really don’t think it’ll effect the price to much…people aren’t buying most of these for grading and the cards are rare in a lot of cases. Also it’s the thick cards with issues, that isn’t too uncommon :)
On the old school elite rookies they would take 100 as their base and then subtract their jersey number and that’s how many cards they would make of said player. So for example the Iglesias he wore 9 so the took 100-9 and made an elite parallel rookie /91
Awesome collection. One thing I learned with those sneaky sp autos/niche players, the buy it now is the way to go BUT also pumping up the promoted listing to 10 to 20 percent, helps it get it to wider audience & moves those niche players a lot faster. This is a dollar boxers dream collection.
@@americanarbitragecards I think you definitely got it right by targeting outstanding and legendary college players that didn't pan out in the bigs. They definitely have their fans who have great memories tied to their play. I pulled a Miles Simon of U of A signature in a dollar box, my favorite pull ever. One is listed for $40 and I think that is right as someone who was there when he won it all, I would have paid $40 since he has little to no autos. Luckily I only had to pay $1 for it. Keep those videos coming, always entertaining
Great pickup! Definitely can profit on it all, although kind of a bummer that so many of those jersey cards have bum corners. I’d assume that LBJ rookie gets a max 8 grade so I’d compare costs to get it graded and sold at an 8 vs raw
I met Mike from my other channel….super good deal and he definitely hooked me up :) I’ve had good luck finding deals my whole career, but having a following now, does definitely help :)
Well he had to leave some value. Yes it was a solid deal. I wouldn't say 2k profit maybe 1 with the way the market is down. Its a lot of work to sell and ship tho.
That is an awesome haul. I love going through cards, but I need to get a scanner to make it worth the time. I hope you offered deathpile picker $300 for this 😂
I like that graded Montana and the graded Peyton a lot! QVC, hahaha. The two guys yelling at how low the prices are, lol. You could Raw card review with BGS at Burbank on those high dollar loose cards. A quick way to see the grade.
Hope you have the information I've shared about Shep's up in the suburb of Hendersonville, north of Nashville Good luck and enjoy your time in Nashville
And that's how you get ahead of things! You literally made jackpot with this collection. James rookie is a big one but sounds like the Topps Curry would be a goldmine. This card is up there in price of the print runs on this. The shop had an 8 for a $1000! Great the shop took care of you
Any saints cards you got from this lot like those bush, colston, Ingram and Brees hit me with a price I'll take off your hands just let me know how much buddy.
Uh yea u need To grade that lebron id just take it put the slab if it grades 8 or lower tho the hobby is weird nowadya i semt about 20 to psa dec 2022 amd havent got em back srill tho shoukd be anytime hooefulky
I’m not a grader and honestly based on rarity, I think most will do fine. People will accept some wear on thicker cards. Ideally they’d be in better shape though :)
@@americanarbitragecards yeah thick cards people don't like to send out because gradings are always on the lower end because they always seem to damage on the corners. you should do okay with a lot of them though for people looking to add to their pc
Hey bro, give me a shout or have deathpile to give me a shout. I'm in Virginia and my collection looks about the same and have basketball football and baseball vintage and modern and looking to unload all
So are you trying to normalize selling thousands of dollars worth of product for pennies on the dollar I mean you bought it for $600 and you said that there was thousands of dollars I mean that makes no sense other than trying to normalize letting yourself be taken advantage of completely like I don't care how much work is involved if you're making 10 to 12 times what you pay that's not a trade off for the time it's going to take you to resell that's completely absurd $600 for thousands of dollars worth of merchandise I mean you get laughed at if you proposed this to any card shop and then once I figured out you were being serious well they would be not only insulted but angry
I’m a Picker…not just a card seller. I find under valued deals and flip them for profit. I’m not in the speculation game much or trying to pay 70,80 or 90% comps. The only place this works is with low end, under appreciated cards. So yes I want to normalize people finding deals and then putting in the work to make the profit. This particular deal was bought buy a friend ( Mike in the video) at a garage sale….he kindly past the deal along to me :) I find similar deals to this at card shops and shows all the time (typically through digging in value boxes)…in fact they know what I do and appreciate it. Most dealers don’t want to deal in low end on eBay…I do, I enjoy it :)
