Am not being Rude ... but your perspective of India is likewise those of western media .... that's only see & portrait the monkeys and slums, maybe low budgeted tour ? Agreed .. that's another reality and again every country has it, next time do visit contemporary India leisurely with ample budget and time to experience incredible India. Namastey !!
If you only visit Old Delhi and surroundings, you can't tell me you have visited India . These are the 4 huge cultural melting spots of India /geographical beauties : 1. Western India (Gujarat and Rajasthan) 2. Northern belt (Ladakh, Himachal, Punjab and Uttarakhand). The Himalayas, the ice capped Mountains forests & vast cold deserts. The Hindu & Buddhists Temples and Monasteries in the remote places are just Fantastic (also Sikh Gurdwaras, especially in Punjab). You can truly feel the spirit/essence of Indic philosophies (the Dharma). 3. The East and Northeast India (Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland), growing in popularity among foreign tourists now, they are offbeat tourist destinations. With fantastic nature (The eastern Himalayan range : Grand mountains, waterfalls and greenery, the wettest places on earth Cherrapunji & Mawsynram can be found here in Meghalaya). 4. South India along with Maharashtra ( in particular the western ghats and Western coast, simply mind blowing) The South Indian Culture (cuisine, Languages and traditions) , the south Indian monsoon. It is a unique place where the mountains, forests and Beaches are all together PS : Andaman and Nicobar islands have fantastic beaches and I'm sure you'll love it All these places are unique, very diverse, several languages and cultures of their own. Very beautiful and visiting these 4 regions would then give you a decent Idea on the true scale and diversity of India. (India is more like visiting Europe than a single nation. But much more diverse than Europe). That's the reason why the region is called "Indian subcontinent".
Thanks for sharing this Austin. If you take away the temples and monkeys, it reminds me very much of many physical features in Haiti and Nigeria- The roads, transportation, and the wires. I’m so glad you got to visit another part of the world. 😊
Most mainstream visit to India ever! He toured old Delhi! India is a union of states and each states are much more diverse than countries of Europe with a bigger population than European nation. How can I say that I know of entire Europe/ i have visited Europe when I have just visited Amsterdam/London. That would be unreasonable.
@Porki Paki My deepest apologies to you. I think if you knew me personally you would have understood my meaning and that I love all 3 places and the people of them. I was referring mainly to the roads, the many wires, and the transportation. How could Haiti even come close to India! India is so far advanced. Haiti is steeped in poverty and corruption right now. Since Austin was showing more of the physical aspects of the country, that’s what I too was referring. Again, this was not a reference to the people. I work with international students and absolutely adore my students from India, so please forgive me.
fired from job, dumped by gf and no way to paying bills. Only solution is get on papa shoulder and travel in India. consider themselves smart. hahaha what a looser.
Driving from Delhi to Bharatpur, Rajasthan for the bird sanctuary will obviously be long journey. It is entirely in a different state. Delhi has Okhla Bird Sanctuary and Sultanpuri Bird Sanctuary, you could've easily visited those. Bharatpur has a lot more places to see like Palaces etc. Just for context about long rides to and forth. Glad you enjoyed your first visit to India and made lot of fun memories. 🙏🏻🇮🇳💐
Very nice my bro, expand your family now to bring lovely kids too in show and see kids reactions too exploring things. It wd add a lot of fun 😊. Wishes from Delhi. See you soon.
Beyond Delhi or Mumbai there is many place to explore in india...in india each state different from others. You should visit: rajesthan, darjeeling, Ooty. Shimla, himachal pradesh goa, Kerala, and if you are spritual then come visit to rishikesh, vrindavan, varanashi ans so on.
what is this fascination with the dingy disgusting roads of old delhi, like nobody even lives there! the entire thing is like a BBC documentary based on poverty porn.
