@@monstermcboo7282 I find its very hard to not speak this way if you grew up in the 80s or 90s on the West Coast of North America 😬😬 - I have vocal fry and upward inflection and cannot for the life of me seem to change it.
@noshititskrae It takes practice to shake bad habits like that IF YOU WANT TO. I’m from the Florida Panhandle raised by Deep and Dirty South Georgians, but diction, comportment, and theater classes gave me the ability to go from my home accent, to the perfectly accent-less American, then to the throwback mid-Atlantic accent, and even the, “customer service voice.” 😂 I find practicing in front of a mirror, with a mic if you have it, can help a lot. There are speech experts on RU-vid that you can mimic, again, if you would actually like to change it. I know the Kardashian-speak has held some back in their careers (and even socially) so that’s something to consider.
nice to see a hair vid from you, I originally found you looking for a hair tut and have been following since. I was just about to purchase a blow dry brush, perfect timing and so helpful to hear your pros/cons for each. Big hello from Spain
I just wanted to comment on how incredibly detailed but also how effective your descriptions of all of them are! Super rare for an influencer to speak so clearly these days! Just found your YT channel and subbed!
Thank you so much for your awesome review! I own I think three blow dryer brushes. I have the original Revlon, I have the air dryer brush by L’ange and also an older one by John Frieda. I’ve yet to find the perfect one. So I will give your number one a try! Wish me luck!! (PS..the Revlon hair dryer brush literally melted and broke my hair off into pieces! So happy they listened!)
I started out with the Revlon One Touch and loved it, but that heat! It was just too hot. My research lead me to the T3. I love the T3, its the only tool I use now. But totally agree about an Oval Attachment, would love love love to see that come out. Thanks for your kind, honest and informative review ;)
I love my T3. My hair has never looked better. In addition to offering an oval head, I wish they had one with a smaller diameter to handle curtain bangs and shorter layers.
I have been waiting for this!!! I have the old revlon and hate how hot it is. I know it wasn’t your top pick but I’m really eyeing that drybar one now- the rough dry option would be so nice I think!
Truly an excellent and comprehensive review! Only ask would be to show photos of your hair after using each to help viewers gauge. But, thanks for doing this video, I found it helpful and insightful.
I have the original Revlon and I really love it. If I ever had to replace it I would go with the T3 based on your recommendation. Thanks for this video!
I love that you did this side by side comparison. I have the T3, Revlon and Amika and agree that the T3 is my favorite. I've burned my fingers on the Amika too many times to count. I've also tried the Dyson Airwrap and was so disappointed in how it performed. Especially for the price point!
I honestly love the revlon one. I get so much use out of it and I use it in my kids’ hair, too. It does a fantastic job of straightening their hair and decreases the tangles. Their hair looks blown out and fantastic for washing and drying every other day. I use it for mine and don’t even need the straightener after!!
I got the revlon one for Christmas for about $35 at ulta and I just love it. (I have not tried the others you mentioned). I have the smoothest hair of my life :)
I purchased the T3 at your recommendation and have LOVED it! I absolutely couldn't use the original Revlon version and returned two other ones before giving up on them. Then you talked about T3 and I had to give it a try. I'm with you, I hope they come out with some additional attachments for it.
I like the Amika one the most for me. I find it doesn't take as long as to dry my hair with that and my hair is nice and smooth with it. I had the Revlon brush but then it started to smell like it was melting and I saw smoke come out of it lol. I bought the no brand dupe on Amazon which is identical to that one (probably from the same factory in China). Worked the same. I do think it gave me more volume than the Amika but it takes me much more time. I have really long, fine hair.
I only have the Revlon original atm. It is super hot but I don't use it much and I use heat protection. I just can't afford to try more tools right now but this is a great video.
I’ve had the Conair spin brush for years and I love that thing! I’m not sure why it’s not viral. Once you master not getting your hair tangled, it really does a great job! I even repurchased because I blew up my first one.
Thank you for your review! I had the revlon one, then tried the hot tools version, and didn’t like either. Too hot of a temp, and I felt like my fine hair fell flat pretty quickly. Have been on the lookout for a potential add to my hair care kit, and have the T3 as the one to get!
T3 blows your hair too much out of the brush. You get frizz. It's definitely the highest quality but it it's not able to smooth it, it's defeating the purpose.
I'm so glad you said T3! I bought this one when you did the tutorial on IG -- mostly because I had a credit balance at Nordstrom. My hair is sooo smooth when I use the T3.
Your hair looks so nice! Could you please recommend a rotating brush or a blow dry brush that is working on cold air? I have fine blond hair majority of tools rotate only on hot air and damages my hair. Thanks .
I have had the original Revlon for years and I love it. It is very hot so I only use it for special hair days. But I get compliments on my hair when I use it and that never happens 😀
The OG Revlon made my hair 1000x more frizzy than it normally is. I know you said the Dry Bar brush made your hair a little frizzy, so which would you recommend for hair that is normally frizzy?
Really enjoy your videos! Your voice is so calming! This was so helpful. I’m an air dry gal cuz Im too lazy to spend time sectioning , drying, etc. could u also review heated straightening brushes and share your face products that add shine and heat protection?
I only have the T3 and I’m happy with the results. My complaints are 1 the diameter of the handle. Even with long fingers it’s difficult to get my hand around it. 2 the locations of the controls. The button to release the head is right where my thumb usually rests and I wind up with it falling off at least once every time I use it. The other control buttons are just inconvenient. 3 they don’t recommend cleaning the brush heads and I get a lot of product build up that flakes off in my clean hair. 4 the brush head bristles are easily bent if you pack this when traveling. A protective cover such as comes with the L’neige would prevent this. Even with these drawbacks it’s still my top choice because of the results.
I have the Revlon original and then bought the L’ange 60mm, the more petite version for shorter hair. I love them both! I have a pixie now, so I don’t use them. But when I did, I LOVED the ease and look they gave my hair.
Thank you for this thorough review of these products. Do you know if there is anything that comes close to the Drybar Airwrap? I wish Dyson would just come out with a simple version like these , with just two attachments and then knock about $200 off the ridiculous price of $550!
I’ve heard that Shark are bringing their version out in September at nearly half the price of the Dyson air wrap. I recently bought the Airwrap and had to return it as it cut out on me, (although it started up again a few minutes later). I was going to get a replacement as I really liked it but then I read about the Shark one so I am going to give that a try. P.s I’m quite hopeful of the shark as I bough the first dyson Hoover when it came out years ago and had always used one until I tried a friends Shark, and to be honest couldn’t really see much difference in either product only the price.
I have the original Revlon brush and I love it. I haven't noticed it to be too hot. I feel like it's time to replace it but am not sure about the new Revlon since I thought the original was perfect.
Thank you for this video, so helpful! I’m having shoulder surgery and it’ll be 6 months before I can do a two handed blow dry. Since I’ll only have the use of one hand-my non-dominant one-do you have any suggestions on which of these would be the best choice? Thanks!
So excited for this! Excited the T3 made the top spot, I have had my eye on that one. Can you comment on the noise? I found the Revlon one to be SO LOUD. I almost feel like I went to a concert for a few min after. 😂. Ringing ears!
I just bought the 4 in 1 Professional Hair Brush Dryer from Amazon for $29.89. I had thought I ordered the Revlon. I was shocked at how easy it was to use. I have to practice because I never learned how to blow dry my own hair, but so far I loved the results.
Hatchet driers with brush attachments have been around forever. They worked fine on straight of the shower wet hair. It just fascinates me that they’re are so many options now.
Great video! Have you tried the Reserve 3-in-1 Interchangeable Blow-Dryer or Dyson Airwrap brush attachments? Curious how either compares to the T3. I'm in need of a new one. Last one I ad was HotTools brand and I don't like it. My hair is thinning w/ just enough of a wave that if it air dries, it's just a frizzy mess.
Have you done a review on the strongest airflow output on these airbrushes? I'm struggling figuring out which one has strong air throughout the entire brush. Most just produce out air on the bottom brush base.
I have tried all of those (Revlon was the original version that I loved for years), and I think the Dry Bar is so much better than the T3. I ended up returning my T3 because I found it made my hair frizzy, and I hated the very wide handle. I felt like I couldn't get it to work comfortably because of that. The Dry Bar actually took away my frizzy hair (I have hair similar to yours, blonde with highlights and wavy texture that I blow out smooth) and didn't fry or break it like my Revlon. I still would love my Revlon, but I was getting broken hairs along my front, and the Dry Bar fixed that and my hair is growing back in there.
Yup. Been using the T3 for a week, and it's much higher quality, but unfortunately it blows the hair too much. So it causes flyout. Damn shame because it's the highest quality by far of all of them. But can't stand the lack of smoothness.
I had been using the Original Revlon until I noticed my hair is thinning. Even I never used it on high heat, it was still too hot and damaging with the heat and brush pulling my hair. I’m using the T3 now and so far so good. The result is not as pretty as the Revlon and it takes longer to dry but I’m ok with that as long as I have healthy hair.
I’m glad someone mentioned about their hair thinning w this cuz I thought it was just me . I don’t use it every time I do my hair but lately I have been using it a lot and notice some thinning on my side hum I think I should get ride it
The original revlon destroyed my hair. I bought it because they had sooooooo many reviews on Amazon. Now I’m still trying to grow out all the breakage in my hair. I’m still a little hesitant to try another one based on that horrible experience.
What a great video and so helpful! With so many blow dry brushes on the market, it gets really confusing, so I’m very grateful for this video! Quick question… If I’m blow drying my hair with a regular hair dryer, and am going to curl with hot rollers or a curling iron afterwards, should I just rough dry my hair, until it’s totally dry, or use a round brush at the end? Hope my question makes sense. Thanks! 😊
Double check the T3 brush after use… I find that it pulls a lot of hair out and there usually is a lot of hair wrapped around the brush after blow drying…
I just came across your video. I am looking for a new styling tool. I have curly hair but I have been flat ironing but have learned that the manufacturers may be using chemicals like formaldehyde or other on tbe tools themselves. Do these use toxic chemicals?
I have the Dyson Airwrap and the T3 airebrush. One of them is going back, but I cannot decide which one! I feel like I am struggling with the Airwrap curling attachments and am just frustrated, but I have very damaged, thin hair. I am hopeful that the consistent use of the Airwrap could help. Can you offer any advice!?
Hi! 😊 I only just came across this in my research, so I don't know if it works, but someone mentioned the brand Healium Hair has a round brush dryer that was good for their fine, damaged hair. I also found Shark FlexStyle that is half the price of Dyson, but seemed similar maybe? I'm still early in my research on these blow dry brushes, but I didn't want to wait and forget to reply to you. But really, I hope you've already found your perfect blow dry brush and this can just help someone else later ❤🤗 Take care xo
We've tried a few of them. But all the handles are too big to hold it's crazy and we returned every one of them can't find a blow dryer brush with a smaller handle
Think I'll bite the bullet and go for the Dyson because of minimal heat damage. T3 will be my second choice. I. Presently use the Hot Tools brush. Thanks for the review
