This was certainly something :DD HAY original animation meme: • HAY original meme 1K s... Making an animation using a mouse: • Making an animation us... How I animate in FireAlpaca: • How I animate (in Fire...
That’s mine too- there’s not very much by way of shading or blurs or anything common in other programs. Fair enough to use if you’re doing flat color, but shading and effects are hard to do
As a long term flipaclip animator, it personally annoys me that there isn't a clipping layer. I use it alot in my usual art and animating without it can be annoying when shading. Also not being able to reverse merging a layer. That's messed me up too many times. But to be honest you get use to it after awhile and it's not so bad.
We should go spam FlipaClip about it, also, kinda annoying that you can’t paint bucket of a different layer. To be fair a it’s a beginners program but still clipping masks aren’t too complicated
Once you've seen the video, please give me your opinions of which version of the meme I should upload (or both?? or both in the same video????) Also, I have a lot of comments about the fact that flipaclip HAS pen pressure - I meant that *I don't have pen pressure* because I don't have a stylus. The pen I used in the video is literally just one of those pens that have a tip for using touch screens.
Honestly animating on FlipaClip is easy for me, but the respect for North if she makes a decent one ToT Edit: Damn you guys really like my comment :0 Also yes, I’m happy to say that North made a very amazing animation :)
For some reason, before North said she was doing the Hay meme, I swear I'd thought "Hmm, the Hay meme is funky, I should watch some after this" I'm also suprised on how well the animation came out! Great job, North! As for which version to upload, I like the edited one!
@@deadacc1299 no it’s not. It’s like any other animation app that takes time to get used to. As long as you learn and practice it’s as good as any other FREE MOBILE APP
Just like normal animation, it takes years to get to know how to animate on flipaclip. But a lot of flipaclip RU-vid's I've seen usually use an amalgamation of programs to animate, which is pretty neat.
finally. someone who also doesn’t really like flipaclip. (as someone who’s generally better and more focused on the drawing aspect of animating instead of the quality of the animation the fact that it has only 4 different brushes and there are no layer modes just drove me insane to the point where i just stopped using it)
I just import from ibis paint lolol p a i n I'd rather use it than the shit fest Adobe animate is though it crashed so many GODDAMN times, anything Adobe is not worth it in my opinion
Animating in FlipaClip is literally all I have so it’s pretty “easy” for me^^ But since you usually animate on another software, I can see why the struggle would happen :|||||
i mean, it gets easier the more you use it. but i like how smooth it was, even after 2 years of using it, i cant even get a good smooth animation out. but amazing job northflowo! i'm SO interested i how you animated so smoothly, im going to have to re-watch it and find some tips :D - here when preimiere ended and before it started
6:05 There is a way to use the paint bucket tool to get rid of a background, you use the color select/ eyedrop tool and color pick outside the canvas and then when you use the paint bucket it will erase rather then fill. But i did agree a lot of things seems inherently difficult with flipaclip, but you still made really good animations ☺️☺️☺️☺️
YASS this is really fun cuz I like to watch my fav youtubers feel what it’s like to animate in flipaclip! But tbh it’s pretty easy for me, and I like it! 0:07 HOLY MOLY IM IN THE VID!
I love flipaclip. It’s simplest animating program, and has encouraged me to try animating recently. I have tried animating years before on more traditional programs and have always gave up in frustration. I use an Ipad, not a computer this time around, so this program is perfect. Edit: Also I use an apple pen, which has pressure, so I have it a bit easier for flipaclip.
I use FlipaClip for all of my drawings and man it ain’t easy! The first time I used it I was such a noob I had no idea what frames were so drawing took me forever! For music, I go into a quiet room and use the recording feature and record the song… it sounds so bad! Your attempt at animating in FlipaClip is still better than what I can do so congrats!
6:04 fun fact: if you go to the paintbrush tool, choose the color picker option, pick the color that borders your animation (the part you can't draw/animate on), you get a eraser bucket!
I animated on flipaclip for a year and it is difficult I know. I use a chromebook though and I also bought the premium because I got angry at the watermark. *I respect you are drawing/animating on a phone. That is the hardest thing ever.*
I had the premiere ready- i was so ready- and then i said "haha mop go clean" my floor is fresh, and so is my disappointment in myself :pensive: well time to watch the video regardless
to be really honest, i like/hate flipaclip at the same time. it lacks an awesome amount of tools i would prefer to use. it is pretty glitchy, and my phone is so small- also i have another thing to say. *i have been animating for five months on that app and you still find that amazing way to make ANYTHING amazing. i dont understand how you made thhe bloody tigerclaw/star fade, and make thhe white outline thingy. amazing.*
My issues with FlipaClip: For some reason tweening decently is super hard on there, I feel like there should be a tweening tool You can have up to 10 layers which is fine but it can be difficult if you wanna have a good animation It glitches a whole lot so you end up loosing progress
2:08 is my entire animating progress, Trying to learn how to animate something specific? 2:08 Trying to center something? 2:08 Trying to get the timing right? 2:08 Trying to get a movement to look decent? 2:08 Trying to do anything else? 2:08
Flipaclip has been, so far, my favorite method of animation. It’s super simple to use and easy, since I like drawing with my finger. However, yeah, there are a decent amount of issues. I especially miss having basically any brush options. Also, attempting to do any type of panning or zooming is horrid, cause the program isn’t made for that. I’ve never had the “glitches” you mentioned happen to me though, everything’s worked smoothly!
I love using Flipaclip purely for how convenient it is to be able to animate on my phone where ever I am. It’s definitely not the best program but it gets easier and easier to use as you keep using it. I do most of my animations on Flipaclip even if I have access to a computer and FireAlpaca/Krita.
This is the only app I use to animate with XD Like I don’t do pmv at all But I don’t do animation ether sooooo I mean I have other apps but there usually just short edit/animatic But going tbh Flipaclip was so hard to use when I first tried it X,) Anyway Uhhhhh I hope you have fun that really all I got to say XD
Thank you for saying what you use for animating, I was using FlipaClip on a tablet but it honestly never came out, now I can try what looks like something better!
Commenting before premiere be like : S T O N K S and I used this program to animate so I'm kinda curious how you suffered and and if your suffering is the same to mine.....
Next you should try drawing with Google Drawings, which is a free program you can use via Google Drive. It's probably one of the most difficult art tools out there and I'd love to see you try it out!!
Animating on FlipaClip has been the only form of animation software that I have ever used so I can understand why it feels harder to do when you start. I bought the premium which is only a one time purchase and I’d say that after a couple years of practice and rewatching tutorials you can animate pretty decently on it. I do hate it however when I can’t undo merging layers or shade very well. I would also like FlipaClip to give us more than four brushes for shading and smudging. :P
i love how when u animate u actually ANIMATE. like, most animators i see just separate the parts (arms, head, tail, etc.) and just move it yknow but like u use the onion and trace it but you know different and ANIMATE. its not LAZY.
Tweening isn’t lazy- it’s just another method it’s kinda like rigging it not lazy it just makes you life easier. Plus, that’s usually not for like hair movements
This is one of my favourite videos of yours, without any doubt. I started using flipaclip just 1 year ago or so, i was always used to utilizing my computer for any kind of art making or animation, and so, i started on my phone using my finger. Pain. I just recently got a pen some months ago, and it still is pain, so seeing that im not the only picky person with flipaclip feels very good. Also may i ask how do you manage to keep motivation with big projects like this one? I always end up loosing motivation early on and i always wonder how other people manage xd.
as a flipaclip animator who is somewhat in the animation meme community, i find it absolutely genius that you decided to do an animation meme on an animation program that is often used for animation memes.
As a FlipaClip animator I can definitely feel your frustration since I’m trying to be animation RU-vidr and when my only source is my phone and trying to find a good enough animation software FlipaClip seems to be the only software I can work with for a while. (Note while yeah there are others the only one I decided to get the first time is FlipaClip and believe me I think there are way better animation software on the App Store but this is what I chose and I don’t think my dad wants me to get another software when I already have one. Wow did you actually read this you get a thumbs up from me.👍🏾
For someone who barely animated on FlipaClip, you actually made a smooth animation! It took me a year to master because I just procrastinated and drew characters as wolves 🐺
Two years later, and honestly, I think it really improved. Maybe not the best app but it’s better than it used to be. I really like the stabilizer and how you can customize the eraser.
A tip for FlipaClip (since I use it all the time) is to go into a room that you normally record in with no bg noise, and record the audio from your computer. I use this tip and for me because I have a lot of bg noise it not that good but you seem to have nit a lot of bg noise so I recommend
u can use audio for free u just have to wait for the “claim free reward” button, i think it says that anyways, it lets you use the feature u just have to watch an ad
