Oh my, I'm investigating to create my NFTs, but it sucks to get a lot of anxiety about all of this process, so I deeply admire and respect your presistance, and your strenght in putting it all together in a video.
That was excellent. I have someone who wants to buy a few pieces of art from my instagram but they want me to make them into NFTs first. But you have done all the dirty work for me, like freaking out about the 6 days, I would have been sure I had gotten scammed, but now I know not to get over excited if that happens. So I'm going to watch this again and pay really close attention before I go ahead and do it. Thanks!
@@crystalbernard9488 hmmm, I’m sure there is but, in my experience, going through reputable sites like Opensea and coinbase made the difference for me. I would make sure to read up on digital wallet security, especially since I thought it to be confusing at first.

I've been collecting art for 40 years and have really good works by Andy Warhol, NC Wyatt, David Hockney, Philip Guston and others. After you sell your NFT how do you get your crypto $$$$ back into your real bank account and turn it into real cash?? It's not that hard to sell quality museum artwork and get paid in cash.
Seems like they want to charge a lot of fees?? The word is that it is a lot of "smoke" and may be just a big Ponzi scheme. Your money goes into "space" somewhere you have no idea who's has it it's not back by the FDIC and you're not sure if they're going to send it back to you if you request it ?? A little too risky---Good Luck 🤫We will stick with art we can touch, see, and hang on the walls.Of course if you are just SELLING art you may have an edge?

Love your vid! I am a graphic artist/designer. I joined the NFT community a few months ago, and I chose to sell through RARIBLE. My advice is PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE. Constantly tweet on Twitter and get into the online social NFT groups. There is so much "shit" out there and you have to make your art seen on top of that giant pile of shit haha. It definitely takes time and effort, and like with anything, probably won't happen overnight. 😉 My goal is to just keep creating! I sell all my art on Etsy anyways, so I figured I might as well just reuse the same designs and make them into NFTs! It's a digital world. 😁
Those are great points, especially promoting your work- I guess NFTs are not much different than physical art pieces in terms of marketing. Wishing you all the best with your NFT journey!
So after you promoted, promoted, promoted, did you actually make any money? Cause what I'm understanding from all the RU-vid videos is the people making any money are few and far, far, far between.
Your artwork seems good! I hope it will sell. I've had a similar journey learning about this, and a key point is: crypto art is a related but different scene from gallery art, the styles, pricing, publicity (which must be done heavily on other sites) have gone in their own weird directions. (one criticism: no more "sound overload" bits please, it's jarring! on large speakers )

I feel like this is the down side of jumping on a bandwagon of hype without knowing the process starting with what is Ethereum, what the fees mean, how to transfer the money but at the same time nothing to it but to do it and figure it out in this process. BUT a lot of stress would be avoided with knowing a little about the culture or Crypto and NFTs.
That’s a valid point- and I think where I felt initially stuck was knowing where to even start. I’m a creature of practice and just doing something and learning from the mistakes along the way. I feel like I learn better that way- even if it comes with a few stressors along the way.

im glad you enjoyed the video. I am not sure if Opensea has changed their policies, but from when I last used it, when you mint one NFT, all future ones are free to mint. But I would double check the platform you are using to verify.

I never heard of NFT's before untill this week. I am a painter (real physical paintings) and have been contacted liek 5 times this week by people who want to buy nft's from my paintings for like 5000 $ a piece. This whole concept is crazy for me lol. But thank you for explaining, it makes a bit more sense now.
No worries! It’s a crazy time for artists in this NFT space. Just be wary of the platforms you’re selling on and do the research you need - but otherwise, this sounds like an amazing opportunity for your portfolio!
I really like NFT. Right now, I like the NFT Marketplace - upstairs, especially since it has a great collection and a lot of events going on. Artists like you should start looking into it and putting their nFts there. Its whats most asian use.
No not really. Anyone who buys your NFT doesn’t automatically get copyrights to it. It just means they got an authentic “digitally signed” artwork from the artist.

Excellent video. I am launching my own collection in mid-May and videos such as yours are extremely helpful. If you can at some point pair your NFT with value, a signed physical token, or some utility I believe it will help to sell your stuff. Maybe do a Beeple styled release with a display thrown in, mixed with a bit of Gary Vaynerchuk Vee Friends approach?
i think you make more revenue from this youtube video than the NFTs you are selling. And, i say this with lots of love. in addition, the "fiscal death by a thousand dinks" in this NFT fiasco is by far the most dissatisfying part of the process.... And this is coming from someone that was brought up with piggy banks -- as a kid, i got dinked everytime i go out and come home, in a bid by my parents to limit my movements and to learn to save! i learnt to prioritize my movements and make every trip count with savings left over, as opposed to aimless wanderings and wasting money.
I’m glad this was helpful :) a lot of the frustration came from not completely understanding the process, so the trial by fire for me was necessary haha
