I tried car camping in a Ford Fiesta...

No build, no experience, no clue! I used what I had at home (bar 9€ to make window covers) to make a car camping set up to save on travel costs, not even sure if I would fit in the car. I camped in a town called Algorfa, in Alicante in the spring of 2024.
Note: A portion of the video was filmed on location in the car so the camera and audio for that bit isn't exactly amazing.

A perfect first time 😁 All you need to go with the easy set up to start with is a 24hr thermos - then you’ve got coffees/teas and pot noodles possible 🎉

I felt so sad when they decided to discontinue the Fiesta! I have more like this in the pipeline including improving the build and CC in the UK, will come up as soon as I am sorted after moving house (and country!). Thanks for the sub too!

I love your red Fiesta, and great go at camping in the car.I just started living/car camping full-time in my Fiesta after I built a platform and totally camperized my lil rig. I've documented most of the transition on my channel.

I drove about 20,000 miles in the last 2 years up and down the east US, sleeping at truck stops in my chevy spark. I took out all the passenger seats and made a foam composite bed platform to save on weight. With blackout window panels that are also black on the outside with a dark window tint, I sleep better at truck stops than indoors.

Go you! Well done! just thinking of the pinterest trick of stitching five old pillow cases in a row along their long sides and putting the pillows back in to form a squishy, foldable mattress to lay along the bed. just subscribed x

I took 2 trips and spoiled myself one night in a hotel, the rest were sleeping in the suv, in the summer heat, i don't know how people can do it on the cheap, i was sore and wore out by the end of the mini vacation

Get your windows tinted with 1 - 5 % light and spray them window covers with black paint on one side. Do not park under a lamp post.... then you can stealth camp... change your mindset 😊 Subbed btw.

I tried car camping in my garage. I only lasted 2 hours and I went back to my bed. But it did make me very thankful for what I have 😊

Definitely need a decent motor home for room to lay comfortably being almost 6' 3" folding down seats was still not the best for comfortable sleep.

Oh of course! Very good question! Yes it was fine. I do plan on getting an all in one bottle with a shall we say feminine shaped top, as the traditional style requires a bottle and it could drip when you take it out. I’m doing some more car camping in the coming weeks so more videos to come, I’ll be sure to feature the new style I get. 😜
