I will admit I think it looks better on camera then it did in real life, trust me when I say it was fluffy 😂 please comment any advice on how I can do this better 💓
I have the same hair texture as you and have gone two years without keratin. I use Color Wow after I blowdry and *flatiron*. If you live in a super humid place, spray CHI SHINE INFUSION Spray on it as the last step and your hair won't respond to humidity. :) The results were beautiful by the way; I don't like fluffy though on me, when I straighten, I want it straight lol
Fluffy always looks so much better then it feels 😂 I also find fluffy never sits right. I’m gonna try and find CHI products here but I’m not sure we have them in the UK 🥲 do you use anything else on your hair (oils, leave in conditioner etc) or just those two?
@@Jaymfs Fluffy is gorgeous on you! If I have a keratin, I use Moroccan Oil (I got that from your video😊). If I’m using Color Wow (since I’m too lazy to do a keratin too lol) I use it alone then CHI Shine Infusion Spray (it’s like an oil). It’s awesome at fighting humidity!
You can use your normal products with this, just use the spray last. It acts like a topcoat kinda, the only rule is it had to be the last product applied. And it might help to actually be a little heavy handed with the product, it won’t weigh your hair down. I love this for sleek blow outs and anti humidity!
Ooo thank you for sharing this! I’m willing to give it another go using my fave products as well. Don’t think I could be more heavy handed with it though, I applied so much to soak my hair, not sure if that’s clear in the video as I edited quite a bit out so you wouldn’t be bored 😂 gonna try your advice though xx
Hello, thanks for doing a review. I've found that blow drying hair, then straighteners, then spray tresemme smooth heat protector the red one. Rough dry your hair then straighteners over it. This is a wining combo. Your hair will be so incredibly shiny!! And it lasts in humidity. Ive tried so many products with my frizzy hair and is a real game changer. Good luck
After seeing your hair in it’s natural state, you don’t appear to need a keratin treatment. I’m also biracial, but my hair is coarser than yours. Keratin treatments have been my savior for management and keeping my roots straight and smooth when flat ironed. I was also underwhelmed by the results of that product too. But I have repurchased your Lee Stanford heat protection. It’s so good. I’m in the US so I get like 6 bottles at a time for free shipping. How often do use your Revlon blow drier? Do you use it on the hottest setting? Critics have complained about it damaging their hair. Yours looks healthy and has grown. I use Moroccan Oil too. But I would love for you to review Gisou Hair Oil. It gets a lot of hype and has high Sephora reviews. I would trust your opinion before purchasing.
Oh don't be fooled by that original hair clip! It's damp still and that is holding it down more lol. The roots curl up and create a lot of volume when it's actually dry, I miss the keratin treatments keeping them smoother. I use my revlon blow dryer about once a week or less as I only use it after washing my hair. I use it on the highest heat setting. I've seen people say it causes damage too, but I think a lot of people just need to admit they don't use heat protection or properly condition their hair. I wore my hair out curly to dance class last week (properly curly dried as well, not like the beginning of this vid haha) and people were SHOCKED at how healthy it is! It's grown tonnes and curls all the way to the end. I credit that to my products and protection I use. I think I'll do a curly hair styling and favourite products video update this month. Also thanks for suggesting Gisou hair oil! I keep seeing it too so I'll probably grab it soon for a review xx
My hair broke off drastically after using the Revlon blow dryer. I loved it but after a few weeks of usage I decided to straighten my hair with a different tool and sure enough I had a ton of small hairs flying about.
@@donnahenson812 sad to hear you had this experience! But I still find it extremely suspicious thou that all the revlon dislike only started once the Dyson became the new popular hair tool. I’ve tried the Dyson air wrap and didn’t rate it at all. There’s a reason it’s never ever made it onto this channel 😂 hope you found a new tool that works better for you personally then the revlon did x
❤ Firstly, I was dying for you to get this item and try it since yesterday, when I saw someone else reviewing it. Secondly, do you still use your VKK straightening comb? Because mine is becoming hard to clean (so I bought a new one). I wanted to know if you still use yours
So basically what you’re saying is, you manifested this video? 😂 yes I do use my VKK occasionally, but at the moment I prefer to used my GHD rise. I clean it with one of those little bristle cleaner things that come with reusable straws lol if this doesn’t make sense please say and I’ll try and figure out what it’s actually called

After 8 years of not straightening my hair, I tried it out for the first time and it held for 5 days (succeeded twice). I guess my hair was really healthy after keeping it natural for so long. However, after maintaining my curls for 2 weeks, then going back to flat iron again for the third time it went back wavy😢
Besides the Revlon I meant. I noticed for the owow treatment you used one, but now in this video you only blow dry? Did the treatment keep for that long? I'm also thinking of trying the Owow
This treatment said to only blowdry so that’s all I did. I don’t think it would have been a good review if I added in straightening as that wasn’t part of this instructions, but I’ll probably do a part two and try it soon. My straightener is so old omg 😂 it’s by a brand called authentic beauty, not sure if they still sell it but it works great xx
I did try this product, it kinda work for because my hair was keeping it straight but it’s fluffy at the same time. This product on last me for 3 days because the 4th day bottom half of my hair frizz. I’m still experimenting with this with other products. I’m debating of getting a keratin treatment 🥴. FYI my hair type is 3c
I tried this and found it worked the first time ish but every time after I have noticed no difference!! Literally doing my good old keratin treatment instead today

@@Jaymfs I used to use the Brazilian straight keratin treatment for a couple of years, that’s actually how I came across your channel in 2014! I then ended up going to a families hairdressers in west London but as I move south east this became a TREK. I went back on Amazon and found the Katvia Brazilian blow dry (it has vegetal keratin) and it’s also like £12 which is a plus! I will say it doesn’t knock you out with fumes like the keratin kit one but it can lighten the shade of your hair and after using it three times in 2020 I did end up with ginger hair in the sun 😂we have a very similar curl pattern so I would also flag that it does ever so slightly permanently alter your natural curls. Sadly (after years of straightening my hair at school *cries*) my curls are less curly these days anyway so it doesn’t phase me much.
