Dry Rub Recipe:
1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1 T smoked paprika powder
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
3/4 t mustard powder
1/2 t cumin powder
1 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
Put in bowl and mix thoroughly, getting rid of all lumps.
Brisket Recipe (The way to NOT mess it up 😁):
2 lb Brisket
Dry Rub (Above)
BBQ sauce: • A Southern BBQ Sauce S... &list=UULFDP1Mtsfq0XGJgO8QiMNDtQ
Put Brisket in Crock Pot & put dry rub all over both sides. Give it a nice spa treatment.
If you can, refrigerate the brisket for 30 minutes to 24 hours. If you can't, don't..
Slow cook the brisket in the slow cooker for 8 to 10 hours with the thermometer in it until it gets to 180 degrees internal.
Remove the brisket from the slow cooker and place it on an aluminum foil lined tray. Take 3-4 T of the juice from the crockpot and combine with about a half cup of the BBQ sauce. Paint it on both side and high broil until it develops a nice crust. Flip and do the other side. Put the thermometer back in to monitor the temp.
Remove the brisket from the oven and generously baste it one more time. Return it to the broil until that crust is bubbling and it caramelizes and achieves a nice brown color.
To serve, thinly slice the brisket across the grain and serve it with the remaining BBQ sauce.

Hey Victor, a suggestion. Sometime, try cooking in the crockpot to around 165/170. Pull the meat out, lay it on foil, put some of your pan juices and or olive oil on the meat and wrap it tight in the foil. Stick your probe back in the meat and place it in the oven at about 275 degrees. When the meat reaches around 200-203, pull it out and if you're temp probe goes in and out easily when you stick it, you're done. I would then leave it wrapped in the foil , place it in a cooler with towels covering it for insulation, and let it rest for 2-4 hours minimum. When you're ready, open the foil, sauce it up and stick it under your broiler to tighten up the sauce as quick as possible so that you don't cook the meat more. I know this sounds like a lot more work, but not really. I think that you will like the results. The rest in the cooler will allow the juices to reabsorb into the meat and you should have a more tender and moist brisket flat. It did look tasty though. Thanks again. 👍

Thanks so much for your suggestions! I will definitely try that! I usually smoke mine, but wanted to try something that more people would be able to do. I'm probably going to do another brisket in a week or two and I'm going to try your method. I'll let you know how it comes out! Thank you for all your support and watching my videos and this great advice 😁

WOW! I just tried your recipe (the way to NOT mess it up 😁) + your BBQ Sauce, using the ingrediences available in Europe and with my standard oven. I don´t have a crockpot so I used a big cooking pot suitable for oven usage and slow cooked my Brisket at approx. 180°F for exactly 8 hours. It came out a bit well done, so next time I will reduce the temperature a bit. Also I will fine tune the final broiling at the end and play a bit with the dry rub. Nevertheless, this was SOOOO GOOD!!! Thanks for this fantastic recipe! Greetings from Prague!

Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Try the dry rub that I just put out the video for next time. Makes it really great! If you don't like the little bit of sweetness, you could leave out the sweetener, but I like it on mine. Thank you for watching from Prague! 😁

Splenda…noooooooo! So NOT healthy!!!! Thank you for sharing🤗🤗🤗

The regular Splenda I don't use. This magic Baker is a combination of stevia, erythritol, and allulose. It's not the maltodextrin. I was really surprised when I found it. You're welcome!
