I have been waiting for this for soooooo long, thank you bro! Also, this would be great to see as a full on series! Maybe learning to trade with a beginner? It'd be nice to follow along a series where you learn as the creator does, I don't think that exists for this subject yet........obviously only if you enjoy it

There are so many money-making avenues to explore, I'm not planning on spending a tonne of time trying to become super good at day trading however I'll probably make more day trading content in the future 😁

Did you see the research affiliates study where the top day traders get beaten by blindfolded monkeys throwing darts 98% of the time over some 50 years of picks? It's fascinating that applying expertise might actually be detrimental 😅

Day trading isn't about understanding the fundamentals, technicals and the management of the company. When you trade you rarely care about any of that. You trade what is in front of you. So it isn't a surprise that the picks by day traders were bad. Trading isn't investing. And good traders don't translate to good investors in the long run.

While it might be free to trade, the buy:sell spread may be wider. So your buy price is higher and sell price lower, potentially. But if the pro trader is on the same platform not sure why there would be a difference? Interesting one.

The reason is Payment for Order Flow. I think he was using eToro and thats what they do. So yeah, the spread is wider and the clearing house + eToro keep the profits (or give a minimal amount to the trader too)

Entertaining video. I am based in the UK too and during the "cough" of the last 3 years a friend sent me to the J Bravo channel. He does news and trading, but not day trading. I have picked up a lot from his videos so maybe you could collab with him? He's a bit off-the-wall in his videos but he knows his stuff. Overall last year I made 10% on my account, whilst good, I have found other ways to apply what he teaches in different markets this year. Fingers crossed end of year is good!

Honestly, if you're in a position to drop $10k+ copying a pro with that app, and they made you what looks like 10% in 4 days, that does not sound bad at all. Even if it looks like tiny percentages at a time, with a big enough starting sum, you'd more than double that in a year just letting someone else do all the work. Also, it looked like, even leaving out the obscured screenshots you showed, that was more than 40% from the pro trader. How did you end up at +$9?

You're correct. Most, if not all, people lose money doing this. I tried it every day for 2 years and lost thousands, not to mention the stress and anxiety it causes. It's just not worth it.

With the copytrading approach, the person who you're copying should make a certain percentage of what you make, so it's not surprising that you're down

Not on Etoro it doesn't work that way. The traders get paid by the platform if they get more copiers. there is no fee to the copiers other than the SPREAD fees that you pay when opening and closing trades. This is what you would have paid on your account.

Bro you should’ve done forex because of the volatility though! Buying company stocks for day trading isn’t the way to make money! Tim Sykes YOLOed his bar mitzvah money into a penny stock while his mom was still coming over to do his laundry and he got lucky. He has since been making money entirely through his courses which are nothing more than "this is a moving average." And I'm pretty sure B the Trader has given up on trying to be a successful trader and has just started pumping out motivational RU-vid videos that are wall-to-wall ad reads. I actually don't know of any "experts" who actually show P&L history gained through trading. It's all just Lambos and lifestyle grifts these days. I'm still not entirely sure it's not all one huge scam.

a $400 stock isn't going to double to $800, a $10,000 stock isn't going to double to $20,000, but a $0.5 stock can double overnight to $1! Buy 200 of those stocks and you could double your money overnight! (could also lose it all overnight)

Did you just buy one share of a stock? You need to buy lots of shares of a cheaper stock so you actually make money if it goes up when you sell.

yes! when you first start off penny stocks/otc are the way to go!! just look into them as always. If he had put like $400 in a stock that was $1 and got 400 shares and it went up .50 cents he would of made $200 pretty fast
