I do like dip powders too. I was surprised it was your first time trying them. You did really well. I do use a stiffer brush when brushing off, it tends to get more of the excess powder off to help keep layers thinner. Also it was nice to see your face. Now I have a face to the nails and voice 🥰💜

I’ve had such a hard time with enhancements staying on. I didn’t want to spend money out of pocket again for something that may not work. I’ve also never loved the idea of having to take it off every time. I’m glad I tried it though. I really like it!

OMGGGGGG JILL!!!!! YPU HAVE MADE MY DAY!!!! I am a nail dipper! The issue with me is that I get “dip flu” from dip liquids. So I do the gel dip method and I LOVE IT! I’m SOOOOOO excited you did this!!!! Please let us know how they stayed on you! Yayyyyyyy, I’m excited!!!!!

I love your nail art, but I do dip my nails. “Dip flu” is when the smells of the dip liquids cause bad congestion, coughing, bad stuffy nose…it is hard to imagine how terrible it is. It must be some kind of an allergy to the smells? Many companies have “low odor” liquids now, but I have heard they dry very slow. I enjoy doing the gel method of dip, though. I’m so happy to see you try it!😁

Hi! I loved your video. I’ve been dipping consistently (mine and others nails) for almost 2 years now but your video is great for beginners. It’s addicting. I have over 300 different dip powders and am also making my own mica, glitter and chunky glitter powders. And I’m still buying more! I hope you have a lovely day! 💜

Hi Sherrye, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! It’s great to know it’s good for beginners! It literally was my first try with it, and so far, I really like it! I have problems when my nails grow out. They’ll get to a certain point and break a corner or something. Even if I don’t go nuts with color (I have hundreds of polishes), I can at least paint on top of the clear. After a few days, I am a little concerned at how HARD they are. It makes me a bit concerned about it NOT breaking when it maybe should. Do you recommend someone to watch where I can learn more? ❤️-Jill

Hi I am Obsessed with dip powder I love double dip I’m surprised they didn’t send you extra brushes for your dip liquids most of their kits they send you that🤦🏻‍♀️also it sounds like you got a bad topcoat bottle cuz it should not have been hard like that. I loved the video tysmfs 💜💜💜

They didn’t send extra brushes, but it’s great to know that it is something they do for customers! The topcoat itself is fine, the brush is just hard right at the bottom of the brush. ☹️

I've been interested in trying dip powder nails. How is the durablility? I'd like something that will last a week before needing changed. I might do my nails more often, but a week is my average between manicures. My daughter in law just spent $50 on dip nails and they didn't last and she is unhappy, but if we spent double that and we could do her nails at home... she has an office job too and is on the computer all day. I really enjoy your channel. You are fun to hang out with and the greatest facial expressions. You had me entertained and I was cracking up, especially over the zipper, yeah right. lol. I loved the durability. I’m redoing mine this week for Christmas, but they lasted on me more than a week before, and that’s impressive for MY nails. For $50 on the Double Dip site you can buy a whole starter kit! I forgot what I said about the zipper. Now I’ll watch to watch it again.
