This scratches the itch for having regular (albeit in great shape!) people competing alongside the pros for reference in all these intense events😂 Thanks for taking on this crazy challenge!
we shoukld just draft perople for thwe olypics like you get a letter like 3momnths before that you are selected to compede and than you have 12weeks to learn a new sport and then compete agains other randoms
As a rower, I could feel the anxiety in that pair lol. It’s stressful enough when you start in a big boat, let alone a small and unstable one! You guys honestly did really well, the coaching was phenomenal as well. Putting you in a pair and making you do race starts on your first day is hilariously cruel😂
omg i'm a rower too and FOR REAL this shit is impressive. You literally went in a 2 without a keel . Like. shit. That is like skipping all the levels and just going to the endboss on your first try and then kicking it in the face
As a rowing coach and knowing the extreme calorie and physical toll that the sport puts on you, I'd like to say that it was a bold movie to tackle that on day 1. Much respect though! Very impressive rowing for two novices, and not immediately flipping the pair was astonishing. That's a tough boat even with the most experienced of rowers
when i saw the pair i was just like ......................... how are they even sitting in it still? and then after a bit they actually were rowing i was like holy shit hahahahaha this is insane
yeah that's what i was thinking. The double 4 was so impressive, for a novice, technique wise. Makes me wonder whether they've done any breathstroke training, because that's also a momentum-thing. Novices usually take a lot longer to understand that.
This should be an olympic sport. We already have the pentathlon and decathlon, why not the panathlon, where one team has to compete in every event with the same athletes
This is so freaking cool. You guys have such endearing personalities and the fact that you're actually trying your best is so great, you're not like messing around for views. I love the authenticity of this, and it's especially cool to compare two regular blokes to Olympic level athletes. Thanks for the awesome video!
excited to watch all the events for the Sprint Canoe & Kayak😁 for the team boats, try and get with an experienced paddler who can keep the boats stable, since stability is the hardest part for new folks in the sport
I row for arizona state university and this was absolutely hilarious. putting yall in a pair/double your first time rowing is devious. I had to subscribe
The rowing made me so nostalgic, almost wanna go back to my club and row again after 10 years since I quit 😭but pretty sure I would fall out of the boat, I was always terrible hehe
i hope you guys still make some money from ad revenue -- because of your soundtrack, i don't know how much money will be left over after they take those artists' royalties out of it. my suggestion: consider using music by my band, The Jephries. we're based in Alaska and our third album comes out in 2 weeks. for a heavy vibe, try PYMITF from our second album, Holland. for a chill vibe, Riddles and Wire may suit you. or for a something about a drunk guy on a collapsing bridge, our latest single is Song for a Deadman. we're on all the services, including youtube. i also in Adelaide for a few years, if that helps your decision. if it doesn't, forget i said it :-)
I'm Out! 4:57 Wanted to find out what each event was, but not like this... The Music is both way to loud, unnecessary & extremely lumberingly bad, ouch.
