Wife here. Thanks for posting recipes and great explaining what you are doing. I have package in my freezer as I wasn’t sure how to use it . Thanks a lot!
I love these ideas! Also, I think you can make the chickpea tofu really easily. It is like polenta/grits, just boil water or non dairy milk, mix in chickpea flour and cook until it gets super thick. Spread it into a dish to shape it how you like and refrigerate to firm up more. Then use it in your perfect recipes :)
I made the tofu scramble with it but I started with a hot pan and a little oil. I didn’’t break it up as small as you did. I added spices and at the end some small pieces of chopped tomato and baby spinach. I used Fiber One wheat wraps and it was amazing!
Hi Ali! Great ideas and now I can’t wait to try chickpea tofu. Sadly I’m one of the rare people who doesn’t have a Whole Foods or even a Trader Joe’s near me, they are at least an hour away. So I’ll be on the lookout for chickpea tofu to come to my local stores and our natural food store I frequent. I love your videos so much!! Please keep ‘em coming. 😍
There are many tofu recipes made out of any kind of lentils. It's one of those things that you just do with a ratio. Just Google basic tofu grain recipe
Thank you for sharing. I had tried making [from dry chickpeas] a tofu recipe. It turned out OK except when I went to fry it. After seeing what happened to you when you did the 2 frying bits, I thought - oh good, it's not just me - haha. I appreciate what you share.
