Ali G you took the words right out my mouth! And the crazy thing is that I bought some fresh aloe! I made oil out of about half of it and ended up tossing the other half! I mean I saw Naptural85 do this but me and Whitney’s hair could never, Ever, EVER be compared! So Danielle, you have given me new hope!!!!
Did you know that smelling colors is a type of synesthesia? Synesthesia is a phenomenon in which your senses cross wires and you can smell colors and see music, and assign colors to things like numbers and letters. Any variation of this cross wiring is synesthesia. I personally personify things like months (March, April, May, June and August are all ladies and the others are male), and I see music as if it were a kaleidoscope...but only music I connect to. Look it up, it's really cool
To make it easier, you can pulverize it in a blender and strain it through a nutmilk bag or a stocking. Throw it in a squeeze bottle and it applies A LOT easier. Gets rid of all the “bits” that can get deposited on your hair, too.
hey babe dont use stockings to strain the aloe because they have bad chemicals from their treatment and dying processes so its safer to stay away from them for the long term xx
Nat I never thought about that, but you're right. You could also try a regular shmegular organic cheese cloth. The nut milk bag is made of cheese cloth, but buying a roll of that is much cheaper than buying the bag.
This is the exact advise I want to share. That’s how I make mine and I use it as a leave in and refresher during the week. If you don’t want to use a stocking you can use a nut milk bag or strainer/sifter. My aloe vera juice keeps inside a mason jar in the refrigerator for at least four weeks. It’s made such a difference on my hairs!
If you cut the gel out and blend it (add evoo if you like), it makes it so much easier to apply and you avoid the chunks. I personally love to add avacado oil because of the small molecule structure. It penetrates the hair shaft really well just like the aloe vera. p. s.**your peepers are STUNNING** ❤️ I LOVE your videos!
And strain it to get rid of the chunks/flakes. Nut milk bags are great for this, as it gets the fine pieces out. My low porosity hair loves it so much I add it to my deep conditioners or use it as a 'leave-in'.
I'm new to the aloe vera gel on how to use it. I want to use it in my hair. Where to get evoo from and what to do when I get both items on how to apply on my hair?
@@starbright3320 Evoo is just Extra Virgin Olive Oil, you can get it at any grocery store. You can blend the aloe vera, strain it then mix the two together. You apply it just as seen in the video, on the scalp and down the hair shaft then let it sit in your hair for a while (30 mins is plenty for me). Good luck!
Kaykayss L I use to think the same but it’s the truth. If you actually research things it’d made sense, don’t just look into the surface of things and assume everything like most people.
Kaykayss L fake signs? astrology has been a thing ever since humans existed. it’s been studied for centuries. every peoples on this earth have their own astrologies but they all share strong similarities. you can’t just simply call it ‘fake’.
Shiease Puryear im a pisces and my eyes used to be like this (smaller in size tho) when i was a kid but over the years i feel like my eyes have gone dull :/
Tip: Blend the "meat" of the aloe with about a teaspoon of water and put it in a dye applicator bottle. I have low porosity hair as well and what we're often taught is to use a lot of thick heave creams and pomades but what our hair type REALLY needs is humectants and aloe vera is a great humectant. Some other great humectants are vegetable glycerin and honey. Incorporating a humectant into your hair regiment for low porosity hair is a game changer
Giiiirl !! Glad you've found aloe vera. IT IS THE TRUTH! I've been natural for the last 10 years and can't IMAGINE life without aloe vera juice. Here's a tip though: scoop out the gel in the middle and blend in a blender (NO added water), then strain it through a sieve, then strain THAT through a cloth (like cheese cloth or even plain cotton cloth). The result is pure aloe juice (and no chunks!) that stores well in the fridge for weeks and in the freezer for months! Use the juice after conditioning, along with whatever leave in you like, and don't rinse it out. Let it fully absorb and dry into your hair. You'll LOVE the result! I love using mine with a bit of plain castor oil too; a match made in heaven. The whole leaf aloe is an absolute game changer.
Yesssss!! I've been using aloe vera juice and castor oil and nothing else. My hair is flourishing!!! It's so much Thicker (dense), shinier and way lomger. Nature is here for our use. Thank God 🙌🏿
Your hair looks so good So 2 things I’ve learned doing a aloe Vera prepoo: 1. You need to soak it for about a day ahead to get some sort of toxin out of it.. causes itching of the scalp and who wants that right lol. And 2. Straining it (the portion being used) helps so much with the chunks that tend to be left behind. I love an Aloe Vera prepoo Nappyfu has a great video on it 😊
Hey starpuppy I hope u see this: in my country (cape verd) we have been using aloe for years and here how u do it: slice the aloe in 2 and then comb it and use the slimy thing all over your hair. you will have much more aloe. I use it between shampoo and deep condition but use as u want. Trust me on this one: u will loveeee it. Much love ❤️
At........ALL! Mane choice, Camielle Rose, Shea moisture, Camry, blueberry bliss, aunt Jackie, s curl, mielle....I’m tired. But when I put that fresh aloe? BayBEE! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Omgee! Her hair is literally flourishing right before out eyes. I first started watching when she got a cut and it wasn't as healthy. However its so healthy, fluffy, and full now 😍.
I grow about an inch a month using aloe Vera (and genetics). My pre poo is a blend of half an aloe Vera leaf, 1/4 coconut oil, 1/4 olive oil, some peppermint oil, and a teaspoon of spirulina powder. I add some Shea butter conditioner as well and heat it up in some hot water. It smells horrible, and it doesn’t help that I keep it in overnight, but these results don’t lie.
You can also use food grade aloe vera juice as a styling leave in right after you shampoo and condition, before you seal with oil, or as a daily moisturizing spray.
Legit, seeing your hair journey and how it’s been working for you makes me smile cause your so adorable. Your happiness is very infectious. You have a cloud on your head!😬😬😬
Omggg Danielle, I almost cried. Your hair is BEAUTIFUL!! And thriving. I am loving watching you fall in love with your hair over and over. And I’m just so happy for you. She’s THIC!!!
I use aloe once a week on wash day. I’ll blend it with water beforehand and strain out the bits with a mini sieve, then pour it into a glass container. So far, I’ve been trying to figure out where it fits best in the washing stages. Last week, I deep conditioned and then rinsed with the aloe and then rinsed all of it out. This week, I rinsed out the conditioner and then poured on the aloe and kept it as a leave-in. Can’t say which works better, but this magical plant has done wonders for my curls.
The thickness...THE THICKNESS THOUGH!!! I can not see you scalp , like i could in the very beginning of your filming. You've come a loooong way baby!! Keep it up!! Your doing GREAT!!! OUTSTANDING!!!!
I use to struggle with retaining moisture in my hair until I started using a home made aloe mixture which i spray in my hair probably every other day. I use the Aloe Vera juice bought in stores, glycerin, rosewater, essential oils and fill up the rest of my spray bottle with water. whenever i have single braids in i spray the mixture on my scalp and on the braids. After a month of wearing the style when i take my hair out it still feels SOOOOOOOO moisturized. This mixture is the best thing I've come across. All credit goes to a youtuber called 'ulovemegz' .
fine is the texture of the strand. density is the thickness of the amount of hair. you have sparse /low density hair. you can have fine strands and high density (me ughhhh so much breakage! I have to be so damn gentle) or fine low density. most 4c hair is fine due to the chemistry of kinks weakening the hair shaft.
I am so proud of you and the health of your hair. Keep it up, whatever you are doing. By the way, I love your personality. You are unique. Beautiful inside and out. I see greatness in you! God bless you and your endeavors. Positive vibes only.
I adore your content. So funny, wholesome, and good for the soul. Buuuuuut, in your intro you say you like cosplay, I no find cosplay content, why? Lol 🤣 All jokes aside, if you’ve been wanting to upload cosplay/more nerdy content I would be SO DOWN. Keep up the realness and the weirdness, love your stuff girl! You’re doin the universe’s work out here. 💙💙💙
Your hair done came a long way. It is very motivating for me to see someone with the exact same hair type as me, grow their hair healthy and strong. I just did my second big chop after 10yrs of naturally not taking care of my hair. Lol. "Fine hair makes you humble", girrlll I felt that!
Love aloe vera! I feel like it's makes my hair stronger, thicker and shinier. The aloe chuncks are the ghetto, but I find that if I use my shampoo brush to detangle most of the chucks get brushed out.
Giiiirllll the movement in your hair at the end for the head shake was thrilling! I will have to give this a try at least once. It looks noticeably softer at the end of the video.
A suggestion, Danielle: next time, scoop all the fleshy chunks out of the leaf, blend with a fork (or in a blender), strain using a sieve and then use the strained gel on your hair from root to tip. That way, you don't end up with tiny bits of broken aloe skin in your hair. Hope this helps. Fluff Nugget is looking sumptuous.
I just got back from the Dekalb Farmer's Mkt with an aloe vera leaf and sat down to watch your video. This will be my first time trying it. I hope I have a good experience too.
I love you so much! Your personality gives me so much love and peace and happiness.. and when you’re sad I lose all my marbles 😭😭... you’re absolutely AMAZING!
Gurlllll this afro!!! Honey this fro I am so so here for it!!!! Fluff nugget is thriving😍😍😍🙌Fine hair gang all day honey lol I can do four sections with my eyes closed at this point😂👌💯 I've never used the plant itself but the aloe vera water is amazing!!! I have an aloe vera plant growing right now. I cannot wait to try this for a pre poo heard it works wonders for dry hair!!!
