I'm shocked you don't have more subscribers! These in depth tutorials are exactly what I was looking for- I'm very much a "dip my toe into the water before diving in" kind of person, so being able to see what the set up looks like in advance is helping me weed out which app may work best for me. I appreciate how detailed Hinge is, but like others said the required video and voice prompts is a little daunting to me and I can see how it would be for others. At the same time, I kind of appreciate that because I feel like it makes it harder for someone to fake a profile.

This was so helpful. Ive been contemplating going back to Hinge. The last I used it was 3 years ago and I wanted to get an idea of how much it has changed. I really like the point you made that it make users complete their profile because that's my main frustration with others apps is they are more a of a numbers game and I'm tired of getting suggested matches with men who barely complete their bios. The prompts and the video clips make me nervous but I just might take the plunge!
I'm glad I watched this .. I literally am not big on video-ing myself even since a child ... that could change in the future .. but it's stressful enough and they MANDATORY make you do a video? I think the Voice message is PUSHING it enough ...... they have to realize that this could ruin things for some people that not everyone is the same and sometimes can create fake rather authenticity....
@@thejasminediaz yeah. Is just hard enough. I don’t go on any of them. Thought/heard good things of Hinge and glad I saw this before doing the whole app walk through. So thanks! I hope there are options a bit. Because it’s not like someone might not try a video if they need someone. Or a FaceTime. Or something. But upfront for everyone seems uncomfortable for me. Takes the control away in who I share myself with.
