Japanese reviewers can be a bit different and say harsh things. I was supposed to be living in Japan in 2020 before COVID19 happened and pretty much every restaurant near the unit was 2-3 stars on google reviews. I think they mentioned on Trash Taste a while back that the only places that get 4-5 stars in Japan regularly are the really high end restaurants.

I'm British, and recently I went on holiday to Yorkshire. One of the most eye-opening experiences for me was going to Yorkminster Cathedral. The majority of visitors were Japanese and Chinese tourists, and that made me realise that Asian cultures are just as interested in European cultures as the inverse. It made me feel a certain kindred spirit that I have never felt before.

Honestly I'm kinda impressed too, buildings are sorta comically small if they're meant to serve as a legit bar (some real old parts of the UK I suppose are like that though) but it's surprisingly accurate in its aesthetic, it does look like they really did their research and put effort into basically 1:1 recreating an old british village the fact they had an old 1900's(?) tetley tea box IN JAPAN is really cool, I wonder where/when they got all that stuff

When I visit any Japanese garden or some thoughts outside of Japan, I feel something is wrong as well. I think that is a common thing around the world. But that English town looks much better than I expected. Although, with that nice looking interior of the restaurant, I hope they serve a kidney pie instead of the fish & chips. 草
