Connor, if you're reading this, not eating anything before these big food challenges is actually a bad thing since you're shrinking your stomach via fasting. I would recommend drinking lots of water starting a day or two beforehand but in general you don't want to not eat anything. Of course, seeing you struggle is entertaining so unless you're super serious it honestly doesn't matter either way. Keep up the great vids. Cheers!

Which means that your stomach can just fast-lane the food into your guts far quicker than otherwise, because the rest of your body is already ready.

Yeah I noticed that eating nothing makes you fluctuate between being very hungry and not hungry at all, and when you do eat something, your stomach is contracted and unprepared for large amounts of food.

Some sugar substitutes still stimulate the release of insulin, which can lead you to feeling more hungry since you haven't actually consumed food that can be converted into fuel (this is due to carbohydrates being chiral, and our bodies only being capable of utilizing one of the two chiral forms). TL;DR: It has nothing to do with the brain registering it, but rather a drop in blood sugar due to the release of insulin. Sorry, my wife has a PhD in nutrition. I've learned more than I care to. 😂😂😂

Just some perspective. They might be wonderful people, they might be assholes. I don't know. I enjoy the content, I'd not go so far as to say I'd want to be friends with these people or people "like" them. The comment about Kaho's channel is not about "spiteful hate", it's just that the content she is doing with this channel is enjoyable to me, but her main channel (on Twitch) is something I find utterly repulsive. It's everything I dislike about "streamer girls". That's what leads me to believe these people just do anything for the camera. Good for them. Not jealous. Just a fact for me. I just don't get the idolizing part, but you do you. And sorry, but that's just for attention, because she never wears stuff like this in, well Connor's videos for one. And I know she's an ex adult JAV actress. And I don't care. She's free to do whatever she wants, but it's simply not even remotely similar content ... watching her on Twitch feels entirely different than here (to me at least). That's all I was going for. These are not "real" people. They sell what works. Many of the successful ones have managers and entire teams behind them. Yet people somehow think that they're legit like that, like they confuse a comedian's persona with his actual real life identity.

Always when food challenges start with "i havent eaten anything" what follows is pain and suffering and not getting very far. If you want to do this you should eat early in the morning something like thick porridge, so that you stomach stretches and then wait for it to pass through you system. Makes thing alot easier.

This is actually one of the more appetizing looking food challenges I've seen so far. All the ramen ones are filled with been sprouts, and the huge gyoza just doesn't look good at all.
