I feel the same, such good entertaining editing that gives of the feel of something very professional but still homemade and relatable in a way. Which is also how Claire’s recipes taste. Such good visual representation of this small team and the home kitchen
I dont know if things were different in europe/Germany, but i feel like i ate the fried apple pies in high school in like 2013/14. Maybe I’m misremembering but i just have this faint memory of the bubbly crust which was amazing. So sad that they don’t have those anymore
Ireland still has the fried versions and they look way more appetising than these ones 😂 they sometimes release different flavours like double dark choc and dark choc raspberry, all as the fried type of pie. My mom has ordered 10-15 at once and stuck them in the freezer.
In the uk we still fry the pies as full pockets of apple filling!! we have also had promotional seasonal pies like the white chocolate and raspberry pie or a milk chocolate ganache pie

Today i learned that the US mcdonalds apple pies are baked, and have been for quite some time, meanwhile in Australia our mcdonalds still deep fry them

Their pies aren’t the same as they used to be. No burn your mouth hot filling. The pastry was better fried. They used to use lard in their fries they were better then. Lard is better for you
