I Tried Probius' W Build & Got Tilted | Heroes of the Storm (Hots) Probius Gameplay 

I don't play or watch HOTS. Never seen your stuff before. RU-vid recommend me your Probius gameplay and i watched one video then the rest. For some reason i enjoy watching you pick on people with a widdle prob. It's so great. Keep it up!

It quite infuriating how probius doesn't have the hp (even with shield talent) to survive Kael's pyro blast, when you consider that probius' only escape mechanism is his sprint burst that can easily be cancelled by a single auto attack.

pally take null gate slow your enemies then put a rift and blow em up you also take quantum entanglement at 16 so that you can chain explosions because the slow remains making it easier for you to set up the next explosion

Yep. Really needed that spell shield at 4. One of those picks that you would need to play Probius a LOT to know to grab. What's really funny is that turret build probably would have been a better pick against that team comp. Awesome video! Probius sees a lot of hate from most of the community, but the people who put the time and effort into mastering him can turn him into a serious nightmare for the enemy team xD

Back in my hots days I almost only played probius. And w build was my go too

I hope this doesn't dissuade Pally from trying the W build more. Those detonated rifts can really chunk grouped teams, and can even be a really good camp clear talent once it's built up. Personally, I would have gone for quantum entanglement at 16 and additional pylons at 20, sets you up to be an area denial powerhouse. You can set up warp rifts to block off attack angles or escapes, or help your melee dps stick to a target to secure a kill. And then with proactive pylon and cannon placement, you have just swaths of the map covered with the pylon overcharge.

I feel like W build has to be picked against the right enemy comp. That team was not a great match-up for it. Not having the spell-shield from cannon build against a Kt and Nazeebo doesn't feel good, nor do the W-rifts setup fast enough to be really helpful against a Kharazim diving you unless they're just bad. Likewise, Nullgate is pretty much mandatory for this build since it makes setting up the rift explosions mid-teamfight much, _much_ easier and can save you from dive heroes if you use it after they jump you.

Unasked for opinions: I think it's hard to switch off boomerang, but pretty good once you get there. You can self cast pylon for mana iirc Hiding the ws in bushes was the way to get that quest done for me.

20:10 -- That was ALMOST so clutch. I was rooting for Adrastela. That Nazeebo ult lasted just a 1/2 second too long.

Lowkey with null gate, this build seems like the build you use once you are comfortable with probius after using turret for a while. You use turret to help shore up positioning mistakes and the like, but this build had the better kick if you know what you are doing.

Enemy team had 3 mages, and probius has one of the most busted spell shield talents in the game at lv 4. Definitely a mistake not picking it this game :(

W build is ideal when there's an enemy Samuro or Nova to help finish your quest fast. If the enemy team has more melee it can also help, but like you I still prefer Echo Pulse the most--it allows you to play so much safer and do more reliable damage. I also agree with what others are saying about the importance of the level 4 Photon Barrier talent. If the enemy team has any mage, I take Photon Barrier without hesitation--it really turns Probius into an underrated mage tank, especially with Interference at level 16.

Hey Pally if you ever get the chance have a friend play Garrosh when you play Probius. Stress free warp rifts detonations and easy kills. Keep up the great content

Hit 8 Heroes and then hit 16 Heroes. Well, that doesn't sound too bad until you're actually doing it.

I genuinely believe that there has never been a game of probius played in which Pylon Overcharge was worth picking. A tiny bit of meaningless damage fired from one or two stationary summons with almost no health? How is that ever going to be better than the cc potential of null gate? Especially with W build. Hitting them with the null gate makes landing warp detonations sooo much more reliable.

This build is good if you are good with the w+q combination requires a lot of skill tho i knew pally wouldnt like it because he played a lot with de boomerang talent

Tough shit! :/ GG in any case tho... On another note, I've never seen a Q-build Probius, I think... Is it that bad, or just a sleeper? I mean, with the boomerang talent on lvl1 and the %-dmg on 20 it seems interesting on paper.

It's been a while since I was the probe, but I feel like you miss something important if are making crystals from the minions? Yeah the level one is a lot of lost W damage. I don't even lane when I W build, I just setup for the fight and blow the enemy team up. Also you are missing your followup shots because you are aiming at the heroes instead of just queuing up the shot to follow the W.

Does he not know the little crystals reduce pylon cooldown? The new Probie can have pylons up at his feet 100% of the time with them

He definitely botched it trying to channel at the bottom when the team fight was right beside him, should have supported team first and taken channel after pushing them away.

o yah w build can do that too you if you dont get too used to it my advice take the q talent at one the quest is not worth it IF you are new to the build

That build is terrible unless you have a team to build around it, like.if you paired with an Arthas or loeric or something it's good. Great to combo with entomb but on it's own, the rifts have such a small radius considering how long a delay there is on it's spawn. Enemies can always just walk out of it before it spawns. If it wasn't an abandoned game, would be nice to see the returning Q as baseline and have the rift slow by 75% for 0.5 seconds for anyone who is in it when it spawns. I think even that would be enough to make this build viable for Quickmatch

Probe even on his best build feels like half a hero and if I'm going to be half a hero I might as well be murky.

W is only good with multiple melee on other team

Seems sorta like toad build nazeebo if instead you had the 2nd lowest hp in the game

pally is really bad at landing his Q onto his W so many times there he's missed and clearly expecting his q to return lol, you can really tell he's trying to play this build the same way he plays his preferred build.

gunna be honest, its kinda click bait saying you tried the build when im watching almost no attempts at detonating the fields edit just as i wrote this at nearly the 15min mark it finally starts to happen -_-

That maybe the worst build for Probe. Infact I believe it’s the worst build in the game. Hit 8 and 16 heroes with the detonation of an ability that has a 1.5 second set up time and needs a 2nd ability to detonate. The return function of his Q being baseline wouldn’t even fix that

So because you tried a new build, one you are not familiar with using and you lose the round the build automatically sucks? So when you started playing Probius and didn't know how to play him and probably lost it doesn't mean he sucks.. You just gotta work the build and play with it more. You're excellent with the cannon build but imagine if you started using void build before cannon. Don't instantly stomp the build in to the ground just cause you had trouble with it the first time.
