The fact that people are still complaining with his revamp and blamed Moonton for it when it turns out it was there fault for voting him at last year reforge of legends event. Edit: NGL I kinda agree who commented in my comment. Moonton is also at fault for making an event like this when most of the time they vote it without reading on how it works. And I hope this event is only for high rank players to vote because we know which hero is struggling to fit in the META or not.

Granger's playstyle was already very unique to him and trying to revamp that kind of playstyle is very difficult imo so people who are hating on moonton for this revamp can probably cut them a bit of slack cause trying to change the playstyle of a hero that already unique to them can be pretty difficult and this is still experimental its not like its the final version of Granger's revamp so lets try giving them suggestions on how they can improve on this revamp instead of just hating on them.

a good revamp for him would be to increase the number of crit bullets by 1 every five levels bringing the max number to 3 and making the dash reload 2 extra crit bullets, and balancing the damage of those bullets making them do 180% or 170% or 160%.

i think that's also good, but the main weakness is not his dmg output but rather enemy can easily sidestep his bullets so a movement boost and cc immune/non cancel first skill will be good as little cc can cancel his first skill n counter his first skill easily. And for his ult a stack of three with the same dmg will be good so that we won't have to wait 45-30s everytime we use one bullet and waste the other two. This is my honest opinion on this matter

yeah that's the problem with this revamp, that makes him too good, giving vision n damage wherever he wants with no consequences. They can make it like a stack version like in valir 1st and clint ult, give him his three bullets dmg and everything remains unchanged from original server, first skill give cc immunity since it is very easy to counter with even slight cc or make the skill unstoppable like dyroth ult

the pistol feels and bulk dmg feels of each bullet in first skill and basic attack will be gone, it was the reason why i liked his playstyle. you can really feel it is a handgun, now more like an smg in handgun form

The fact that he gets scarier in late game now like cecilion due to his stack. Not to mention his ult is very far unlike most mages that makes him very broken. He can spammed ult in late game quite often as a poke and run too

@@Themonic_blade But the problem is here even in late game Granger’s damage is miniscule and can very easily be sidestepped, Granger’s problem in OG mostly revolved on mobility but no issue on damage. Here not only the mobility remains an issue but also the damage is has severely tanked. This video is already big proof enough that the only benefit you get is just skill spam. Any why mobility? Granger used to dash twice since 1st skill used to reduce 2nd skill CD to dash again. However, now that 1st skill can’t reset 2nd skill, he now relies on Flicker to gain more distance if he needs to. And Ice Retribution is now less effective when attempting to run away if Granger gets slowed.

Had a chance to try Revamped Granger om Advance Server. Turns out he's still the same, just faster skills. Although I do hate his ult doesn't have the HP based damage anymore, overall it's pretty much the same. His weakness is still the same. The good thing is that he can be used on the Gold Lane now.

2 RGS later in ADV SERVER OF MINE just realized the mix and matchings of Pew pew DEAGLE and a semi auto cannon is enough to wake up mostly his DPS. Just a Shoot n run style Same power and piercing build for him

They made Granger similar to Hayate from AOT and MM from HOK (Forgot name but his skills was exact copy of Hayate). Example- 1. Two Energy Bar 2. Skill 1 Fire rounds and long range •Ult CD was Unexpected There's a possibility that they'll make his Skill 1 count as Basic Atk if nerf they his skill 1 damage gained from Equipments like Hunter strike etc. to balance his performance in the future bcoz he seems overpowered. I would also like to try him rank just keep spamming ult everywhereeverywhere 100℅ survival rate early game😆

I tried it and it is really good, specifically in the jungle role. Tbh, if people want Granger to enter meta status, this is the start. Even though people will say that "UnIqUeNeSS" and "fUn" is gone, if you say that ranked and meta matters, then this is a good revamp and will get Granger meta.

But uniqueness and fun ARE the fundamentals of a hero. A hero can be so strong that it can just push one button and win the game, but does that make it fun? Does that make it unique in the midst of over 100+ heroes? This revamp is shit, not because it's weak, but because it's strong. This is what I mean when Granger now became a mid-late game hero. His early power has been reduced. Might not be worth using him as a jungler. Also they removed the camera zoom while using ult, they should implement the ult zoom while aiming so that we don’t just keep blindly aiming the max distance. Revamped Granger isn’t crazy, he has weaker damage compared to his former early burst combo. His Rhapsody (1st skill) is so weak, you’ll need A LOT of burst damage to compensate what he had before.

He's way too overpowered, that ultimate without a cool down is insane. You can check bushes as much as you want and steal buffs and kill low hp enemies really easily. You can easily tell if a hero is overpowered when you can play them in any role, and similar to the initial suyou, granger is still in that overpowered all lane hero stage.

Finally, moonton bringing back old chang'e! My favorite main which i immediately stop playing after revamp I only play feather build chang'e now because for me her normal playstyle is just too boring. As an OG chang'e user, i can assure you this nee granger is gonna be really fun If u guys talk about uniqueness of his skill 1, tell me what is so unique about having a CD compared to being another Harley? Chang'e needed that revamp probably because that kit wasnt fit for a midlaner. I always thought chang'e's old skills could have been real good on a marksman, and finally here it is

What if moonton make his passive a rage when its full he will release the crit bullet caprice, then the 1st skill stays like this, then make the 3rd skill stack skill maximum of 3 or 4. Skill 1 and 3 can trigger the passive.

They should've Made his 5th/10th bullet from his 1st skill dealt crit damage, ik it might be overpower considering the never ending skill burst, but they could reduce the base/scale damage on 1st skill to balance it (or maybe delay each bullet shot), and god, the no delay on skill swing is insane, been try it on Advance and i could easily kill early game fighter because of it

making it's 5th bullet crit while keeping the dps value will make the skill ceiling to play granger higher, and it'll depend on moonton intention on the revamp. If they want to make granger easier to play then what you suggested about the crit bullet will be against their intention and they'll probably wont implement it. But if they actually want to perserve granger trait this will make make granger stay as it is with some improvement to skill 1 and ulti, which is good enough if i would say.

Issues with Revamped Granger: 1. His passive can be easily griefed if your teammates steal the last hit, intentionally or not (even if it's your roamer) 2. Enemies can easily prevent you from last hitting minions by body blocking (and gets zero stacks)

Now Granger is definitely a late game marksman. But he will be reliant on blue buff for energy.

He doesn't even need the blue buff TBH. Play him with short burst of rapsodies. Mixed with his already dashing weaving style, his energy gets fairly easy to manage

I played 13 matches with him. 6 were in gold lane. His gold lane wasn't all that good because sometimes u may miss last hitting minions and lose stacks. Or maybe an idiot team clears ur lane. His jg was struggling in early. If you can keep farming stacks then his late game can be pretty good. But if you can't stack much then ur ded
