The first method for vegan fish that I was planning to use was with banana blossom. However, when I bought the banana blossom it did not look right! I had not used it before but it did not look like something I wanted to try. I was told that was the way it was supposed to look but I still wasn't convinced. So when I saw Tabitha Brown's video on making vegan fish out of hearts of palm I knew I had to try it. And let me tell you it turned out good! I think it is one of the best vegan meals I have made so far.

I love hearts of palm! I eat it straight from the can. I’ll definitely try this. Trader Joe’s has cans of HoP for $2, at least half the cost of anywhere else (haven’t tried ethnic food stores for them).

The moisture was enough. I didn't have to do anything extra.

far from raw whole food livity.... you eating out a can n sayin u vegan is crazy.. u also are frying a canned heart of palm and you used corn meal, y'all just was using the word vegan cause it was a fad
