I got the same one cloudsurfer same color way. I think is the 2nd best one I tried today. The best one for my feet is cloud monster. I wanted in black but, they didn’t have it on stock. So, I bought the same color way for the cloud surfer and will be ordering the cloud monster in black in a couple days. I pretty much tried all the ONs and Hoka. I wanted Hoka first but, when I tried the ONs is a lot for more comfortable, stability, good on my heel and after I wear it half day. My feets feels very good.

True! I tried the new eclipse, not same as the feel of the surfers. What I didn't like with the eclipse was that it was too squishy. while the surfers might feel unstable at times, the new ones has that stability issue more pronounced. Not my tea.

I received ON Cloudsurfer for Christmas. And they definitely are up to my expectations. Also just purchased the Cloudmonster, I'll wait couple months for the Cloud eclipse to have more color way. As for now, there's not really a particular colorway that draws me in.

The cloud x is a cross trainer shoe meant for weight lifting snd cross training. Thus its supposed to have a firmer feel and a good shoe dor its purpose. The surfer is my favorite out of the 3 personally. All quality tho.

I tried the cloudmonster after my feet were dead from wearing terrax free boost at Disney world. They felt good but after seeing the reviews for the eclipse I decided to order them in the flame colorway. I’m hoping these will feel better for my next theme park adventure.

So rightly said - massive cushioning takes some time to adjust. Also, not fit for gym. I was looking for a pair of cushion sneakers for my upcoming trip to disneyland and bought the Hoka Clifton 9 for myself and my wife after watching a lot of videos and reddit. It was so bad during the first couple of days for both of us that we were tempted to return it - albeit we discarded the boxes at the store itself. 2 weeks in and now they feel much better. Still, the lack of a hard sole at the heel makes the landing a bit weird. Definitely the most unique pair shoes I've ever bought in terms of how it feels. Also, the shoes are bit narrow in the front but that too is better than day 1. Long story short - Too much cushion doesn't always mean more comfort. How much is too much though still remains a question :)

Heal fatigue is a thing with squishy midsole. You ask most foot doctors, firmer shoes are better for your foot long term than they squishy shoes.

Tip: On Cloud is a different shoe than the On Cloudsurfer, On Cloudmonster, Cloudeclipse. The Cloud is probably the most known shoe from On Running, don't want you to get confused

Can somebody comment on how these feel compared to the Adidas Switch FWD? As a lifestyle shoe and as an actual running shoe (for short distances at least) as well? They have a similar design with the slanty holes. I cannot find any On shoes to try on anywhere near me at all.

The adidas is close but not as good and sort as the Cloud Surfers. They are the ones to compare with. I’d go and did go with the Cloud Surfers

@@felitolcoNot sure who was first here (Cloudsurfer vs. Switch Fwd), but take a look at the normal On Cloud shoes vs. Adidas Microbounce, which has existed years before On was even founded... It is quite common to take inspiration from something existing in this industry, I think 😄

ON is the most overrated and overpriced shoe brand right now. Their shoes are nothing more than mediocre with tons of design flaws and very bad durability.... just see some customer reviews and you know what you're buying into!!! Total waste....
