Hoyo have been doing this with new characters for ages now. Since Genshin it was always like that in Spiral Abyss, and can't blame them honestly. It feel even better to complete all stars using other characters and feels nice when u can do it faster because u pulled a new copy of character u really like

Kinda crazy how busted bronya as a jingliu support is that you can clear moc 12 2nd phase with gepard and lynx, allowing jingliu to go twice and clear the adds allowing the moc buff to stack on the swarm is so busted. I struggled really hard that moc cycle.

finished phase 1 with 26 cycles remaining and was literally 1 turn away before 19 cycles remaining on phase 2. thankfully my seele ult was up just in time to get that 3 stars. 36 stars at the end but it was kinda rough ngl.

I wouldn't say that this MoC pushes the banner characters, I 30* every MoC since 1.3 and what made the difference was getting enough supports and a good dps. Heck there's people with no pull accounts achieving 27* to 30* depending on the buff, which brings me to my point the current turbulance IS the issue, you can't rely on it for dmg since it triggers AFTER THE CYCLE ENDS. Meaning that during cycle 1 and 10 you have no buffs so the dps check becomes a death sentence. So far the only unit I can say makes MoC easier and allows you easier clears it would be Bronya, since she ignores the turn mechanic of this turn based game.

I wouldn't say you "Brute forced" It with Clara Blade. You was matching both weaknesses.

This gave me motivation to get 3rd star on moc 12! (20 cycles) Great comps! Edit: I did clear moc 12 with three stars! Needed Ruan Mei second half and have no Bronya. Took 10 cycles, was close but I did it!

i Autoplayed it ,im sorry .(lost 50/50 got her hard pitty and LC on 50)[wanted the LC bad ,because SP for DHIL] i have now 32k jades now and 38 pitty .[took alot for Xueyi getting her E2 ...] Funnywise my Seele cleared faster than your Jingliu on Autoplay on phase 2 [i assume ,because Xueyi is on the banner to make her op?,but they had ice weakness too] [suprised me tbh ,i thought i would struggle more with single target against the bug] my DHIL was struggling more on Autplay with ruan mei in team ,they didnt even play bad and his SP economy worked,but Kafka took all their ults constantly , [i usually Autoplay MoC first look at what the enemys did in the cycles etc and than fix their mistakes] i still love your content ,but idk it seems hard for me to catch your streams .

Sadly Genshin is the same with Spiral Abyss, they strongly favor current banner characters, it sucks but /sigh.....
