Thank YOU sooooo much! I wanted to buy this board to complete my Razer build. I am currently using MEG Ace x570. I wasnt sure if it was going to be worth it. I searched for reviews specifically the ARGB aspect of it and couldnt find anything. You have confirmed my worst fears about this board. My intetion was to have 1 RGB control SW that would allow me to control my ARGB in a per LED basis. Although the Razer connect is useful it is very limited. Razer connect doesnt allow you to control third party ARGB on a per LED basis which for me was a real deal breaker. Also I noticed that MSI products have the worst ARGB implementation of them all. They have a canned set of ARGB effects and it is impossible for any Software to control each LED individually. That is why Chroma and SignalRGB can only light up all MSI ARGB one color at a time although those Mystic Light products have multiple LEDs. I found the only piece of ARGB SW that did the trick for me was SignalRGB. They are actively working on supporting more ARGB devices. Also if your device is not supported and you have enough curiosity and skills you can write up your own SignalRGB plugins to support your device(I did this to support my TT fans).
Go Into Your Apps And Programs Find Patriot Viper RGB and Patriot Viper M.2 SSD RGB and Uninstall It Caused My G.SKILL Ram To Stop Working With Razer Synapse 3
Unfortunately, even with the XPG software not being installed, MSI Mystic Light would still break G.SKILL's lighting software :( Luckily, this issue is not present on the ASRock Z690 Taichi Razer Edition motherboard. MSI Mystic Light, G.SKILL Lighting, XPG Lighting, Razer Chroma all play nice togther :D

As a HUGE Razer Fan - less because of the RGB and Just because they make really good products - and an ASRock Fan, I knew I need this Board. Quite Expensive around my Area still but I have this on my list of Things to have in the actual *keep for a Long Time* build I currently Plan haha. Thanks for the amazing review. @TechBlock Finally got the B550 version of this board. Loving it so far and I'm almost done with my dream PC build. Gonna be a while til I can get the matching gpu. It's the Asrock TaiChi RX6800XT. It should sync with the board itself I think.

@@TechBlock I'm stuck with ASUS for now though. IF ASUS naturally synced withRazer it wouldn't be an issue but NOOOOO they have to have a deal goin with Corsair.

@TechBlock I had the same issue with Mistic light and GSkill, disables the ram sync on dragon center and them i delayed the dragon center service on windows service, that fixed for me
Same issue I got with my XPG RGB ram, can't control with Synapse... sucks but I just use the ASROCK software and have it set lighting to something that matches well enough... wonder if I the regular Tai Chi Z690 would actually work.... but I kind of doubt it still...
RGB software is terrible in general from all manufactures unfortunately. The open source ones like open RGB, signal RGB, etc etc, are the only software that has come even CLOSE to be cohesive, complete and workable with a wide array of devices, even then they sometimes have issues.
i might get this motherboard since i already have a lot of razer stuff and recently got the o11 dynamic razer edition so i think it would look sick but i need to save for a new gpu cuz i only have a 1050 i mean it runs the games i play pretty well but im gonna need a upgrade if i wanna play bigger games anyway love the videos man keep up the good work 👊
I got the same problem with my msi z690 motherboard and GSkill DDR5 memory. Tried syncing via razer its not working properly, tried msi center sometimes the colors sync sometimes it doesnt. Also tried gskill software but msi center constantly overwrite it. Its everytime a question what colors pop up after restarting…
Excellent video and by the way, don't feel bad I get the same bluescreen once per day on my system, and only happened with my Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE and 5950X, and I never had that issue with the rest of the hardware on my ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E Gaming edition with a 10900K. I think is related to AMD drivers how and I am almost ready to drop ship back to Intel. =/
@@TechBlock I think I may have found my issue but I won't know until I finish testing. I have 64GB of Corsair Dominator 3200MHz Memory. The issue is one set was purchased first and the second later on. Turns out one set has a Hynix memory chip and the other one Samsung. Running at 3200MHz seems to randomly cause BSOD. I drop the speed down to 3000MHz and checked to see if it will work okay this way or if I have to buy a new set of 4x memory sticks to prevent BSOD on my system.
Can anybody throw me some advice? I currently have the asrock b450m pro4 motherboard, and I've had 0 issues w it aside from it having no Wi-Fi. Any non-expensive, Wi-Fi motherboard recommendations? under $160-$150 USD is preferred. I don't necessarily need to upgrade; would it be better to just buy a PCIE Wi-Fi card instead??
Thanks for making this video ma dude. I was considering this MB for a few months back. For me it's a deal breaker that I wouldn't be able to have my m2.ssd (I also have the XPG S40G) controlled through synapse, nor the ability to control both the RAM and GPU at the same time. Hopefully if Razer releases a future model of this motherboard with those issues fixed it might be worth it. You can't ever have everything synced up the way you want it unfortunately. I also see Signal RGB as the only solution currently, but it's sad that it's very limited when it comes to customization and not everything is free in there. I think the best solution right now imo, is to have a Asus motherboard + G Skill RAM + Asus GPU to get everything working and STILL the M.2 might still not work xD Anyways appreciate it once again
I have that same case, but for the life of me I can’t plug in USB3 front panel connector and also have three fans at the bottom. The connector is just too chunky and collides with the fans.
