FIX GPU SAG for $10 with this ANTI-SAG bracket!

Thank you for calling me out in the comments about my GPU sagging, it's about time we address the issue and fix it. I ordered two different GPU brace/support products on Amazon to test them out... But which one is better?

I actually ended up finding a triple PCIe SLOT COVER ARGB GPU brace also from upHere, which has by the looks of things the same RGB lighting setup but could better support heavy cards like mine. Here's a link to it on Amazon ➜ geni.us/KVAG
I might revisit this topic in the future and order even more GPU brace products to test, let me know if there's any that you think I should review next time!

I have the non LED version of the UpHere brace. They've modified it since that version, adding another eye hole for a screw making it much more secure.

I have a aorus 3070ti, the bottom of the card is all fans basically and with the uphere brace there is no where to position it without hitting the fans

QUESTION! For explanation sake, if you lay your pc sideways, should the gpu form a 90 degree angle or should it be like a 89 degree or whatever? When I connect my gpu perfectly straight down, I get a tone of error codes mainly code 97, but when I connect my gpu and leave it to sag on its own and screw it down it works just fine. It's hard to keep it that way tho

I have that Uphere branded GPU support for my card. I have a EVGA 3070 ultra so not as big a card and it works pretty well for a smaller card. Mine also screws into 3 of the Pci slots - not 2 like yours. The RGB diffusion isnt awesome but i leave it on a solid color so i dont actually notice it that much. If you go and have it change colors than you can tell its kinda crappy lol. But for $15 USD it isnt horrible.

i build my pc on 23rd this month (i have ASUS 3070 TUF) and since its holidays nobody work till next year soo i will be able to buy an anti sag bracket after a week is this a problem to stay with sag for the next week my motherboard is MSI B550 TOMAHAWK and it has some iron reinforcement on the pci slot

I wanted the UpHere support but tbh I could see the problem with it already, like you said it’s still connected to the PCIE slot so with larger cards it’s not enough

Id say it's fine. Just don't stand it on a hard drive. Magnets are commonplace in many pc cases

I wish every anti sag bracket didnt plaster their name on all the products....but I bought the Lian-Li anti sag bracket and it works amazingly and it's the lowest profile solution I have found to date besides jamming a piece of rubber in between the gpu bracket and the removable metal pieces where you mount your card.

ummm that 2nd sag bracket is designed for 1-2 slot cards. a 3090 is practically a 3 slot card (2.9 slot) which is well beyond what that bracket was made for? so it comes as no suprise it isnt fixing your gpu sag completely.

I had bought a rgb support in advance before my card (Early in 2021) however no matter where I place my support level at, it hits fan on the Suprim 3090 Lol. Luckily, the Suprim came with its own sad fixer similar to what you bought.

Before these anti-sag things came out, I would take a Popsicle stick and cut it off at the height that I needed and then paint them black and prop the card up with that

@@TechBlock It actually comes wit h the Razer edition of the O11 so you probably have it. Since it aligns to ATX mounting points it should work fine with the XL. It's practically invisible unless you get a light to the window and go hunting.

Won't work with motherboards that have thick metal shielding on the board, such as the maximus z690 formula

never had PCB sag or break even with 3 way sli GTX 580 Classified, 290X Matrix CF, 390X Strix CF, 780Ti Matrix SLI, 980Ti Strix SLI, 1080Ti STRIX Sli, RTX 2080ti Black XC, 4080, 7900XT MERC 310 with cards used on multiple cases and motherboards and 0 sagging. I don't even use that emperor's new clothes gpu bracket

i used zip ties to tie it to the top of the case. for free. i assume you can also use any disused wires, usb cables and etc.

Keep messing with your hardware under power and you gonna need a new GPU card! Good review, but I'm curious about what will happen with this screw if you drop or carry the case. Is it going to fall and brake something? I would solve this problem by hooking GPU to the top of the case with a guitar string or fishing line. Seems MUCH safer for the hardware. 😁
