I liked these videos because it's hard for me to find a good fitting nail, I was always told I have small hands; but nails never fit me still. Thank you ❤❤
Wow, Glamnetics are the only press on nails I use. I love them, the fun designs and they last up to three weeks for me and they would probably last longer but by then I want to put on another set to change up the design. Trick is buying their brush on glue, it’s a bit of a learning curve but once you get it, those babies will NOT budge for at least three weeks 😂
@@jacilynalcantar3294 When I say learning curve I meant making sure you apply enough glue and press down correctly so that there aren’t any air bubbles. Once you get it down they last for at least two weeks. If you get air bubbles you’ll feel they are off from the start! You’ll quickly get the feel for it! The brush on glue is great, I just brush some glue on my nail as well as the press on nail. Apply nail and press down and hold for about 30 seconds. If there is any excess glue that comes out after pressing, don’t fret, just remove that with a cotton round soaked in nail polish remover. If you’re a visual person, Glamnetic has some videos on how to apply their nails on their Instagram! They recommend lightly filing the nail surface before applying which I have never done and the nails have adhered just fine! So that’s another tip! Good luck and have fun! 💅
This was so helpful. I had to stop going to the nail salon and decided to give these a shot. I picked up the glamnetic nails at the store the other day and will be putting them on tomorrow. This video was super helpful. Thank you!! :))
Thank you for the honest review! I’d be interested to see a review with the brush on glue they sell because I read that it helps them last longer (if you ever decide to try them again 🙂)
Thank you for the review. My hands are kinda big and I was worried about the fact that they don’t have nails for larger fingers. Thank you for saving me a dollar. That being said, I’m hoping in the future they are able to make larger or wider nails.
Thanks so much for your detailed review. As someone who has never tried press on nails, I'm a bit apprehensive, but it really helps knowing more of what to expect. Many Thanks!!
I appreciate the review! I’m not a nail girl but wanted to try these out. Don’t think I will now since I have large nails, and they probably won’t fit correctly. It’s the same reason those nail stickers that were trendy in the late 00s/earls 2010s didn’t work for me.
I have been waiting for someone to do an honest review. Thank God for you girl. Ive only seen one other person do an honest review abour them which i appreciate. I use the kiss jelly fantasy and I never have a problem with it bending. I've been seeing the ads for glamnetics and they're comparing to the gel stick on tabs but gluing on the glamnetics ones which I think is an unfair comparison and also comparing themselves to the lowest quality press on nails. I just found you so idk if you did do this but I want to make a request for you to try the kiss jelly fantasy against the glamnetics because I have yet to see any videos lol
it's also in the prep and your glue. if your nails are "not lasting a day." like one of their ads stated, and you're gluing them on, either there's been no prep at all and not using enough glue together, or one of those reasons separately
Thank you for all of this feedback. I tried static nails recently. The nails lasted a long time but I had a very very hard time taking the nails off, even after 12 days of wear. I wasn’t that impressed esp for how much they cost. I have glamentic next to try. Do you have a video showing what you do to take the press on nails offs?
The more often I wear press on/glue on nails, I too find they don’t last as long so I like to give my natural nails a break before going on to another set. I also have an issue finding brands with enough wide nails beyond just thumb nails. My middle and ring fingers need wider nails similar to the thumb nails and most companies don’t provide enough to cover the whole hand on both hands. Have you tried Glamermaid nails?
I absolutely WRECKED my natural nails trying to get them off. Followed a couple tutorials (yes the Glamnetic official one) and I still had to RIP a few off as they just wouldn’t budge no matter how much I soaked them 😢. They stayed on too good lol.
One week? Wow, they are the only press ons that lasted me over 2 weeks. To the point the design itself started to peel off. I also have thin fingers though so no problem with the fitting. I also bought the glue that comes with brush, made applying the nails way easier. No bubbles.
I get my powder dip with tips for 40 bucks and that lasts about 4 weeks. It seems like if these are lasting 1 pack a week so it’s kinda of expensive but like she said some of the quality of nails are not good
In their advertisements, they showed pushing the nail into an apple. Do you feel like the nails were strong enough to do that? Also i always have issues with the nails lifting at the base so there is a small gap that my hairs get stuck under if I try to put it up in a ponytails. Did you experience anything like that? I cant stand that about press on nails
Just tried glamnetic for the first time and i ran into the same issue with sizing and fitting, not an exact fit, and my nail beds are not even that much larger than average
Everyone should just try any brand for themselves, you can't possibly think someone trying it will make It fit you. Where's the sense people c'mon. Don't be scared to spend money when interested in something. Try it, size it accordingly and if it's soo narrow get it from someone who does it on order, "problem" solved.
Huh? Pretty sure that’s exactly what I did in this video….totally agree everyone should try it out for themselves if they like! I was just sharing my experience doing this myself :)
tip from a licensed nail tech ! 240 grit buffer lightly buff your nails wipe with alcohol pad wait 10 seconds glue nails on they will stay for at least 1 to 2 weeks .... also ....your nail grows from your proximal nail fold they don't rejuvenate from "breathing" the reason they pop off is because they don't fit from side wall to side wall so uneven pressure is causing the tips to lift and pop a snug fit will insure that doesn't happen ....you're better off investing in a home press on kit because from a box of tips and a few polishes you could do many many many reusable sets I'd say at least 10 from investing 45 to 55 dollars In the supplies
@@valeriebriggs3191I mean honestly they are all the same if you want them to say follow these steps trick is getting a good glue and properly dehydrating your nails dear
Well, that tells me they’re trying. These will be a waste of time even I have smaller nails and I find that most nail brands still show the sides at the top because they just they start to curve in way too soon and I find that is very prevalent with brands who only make short nails, but I have had a lot of luck with olive and June. Luckily when I’m wearing their medium length nails, but I will say I hate that you don’t like French tip nails because there are so many cute designs. I find that it’s all about the application process I have never had anybody clock my French tips because that’s mostly all that I wear
